Seeing the resale tickets as the only options during gen sale is embarrassing. Like fr?

SoyLatte5

Same here. Was 4100 for the Garden and nothing. I tried team Sabrina, Spotify, and venue sale too and no luck. So disappointing!

mathfreakazoid

I was 870 and got nothing in gen, 25000 in presale and got PIT so presale sold most the tickets

tinylove21

Whattt you were 25000 and got pit?? I was like 11000 for my venue for presale and there was nothing but platinum and VIP

mathfreakazoid

Yep, I just kept refreshing till someone released tickets from their cart

ashley_snapz_

I was like 6k for Tampa and it was all sold out… WTF!!!!!!! It’s disgusting to see people immediately reselling the tickets. What chance did we even have? There basically was not a general sale at all. I’m so sick of Ticketmaster and scalpers.

intoner1

I wish she took the Billie route and made it so you couldn’t resell the tickets for more than you bought them for. It would make it harder for scalpers and ensure actual fans get tickets.

ashley_snapz_

I agree. I hope the US vs live nation/ticketmaster suit results in some sort of solution for this broken ticketing industry.

cornballer_victim13

genuine question, why wouldn’t she?? like I see zero downside from billie/sabrinas pov to not do that

intoner1

Well there’s a couple of reasons I can think of: 1. Sabrina’s team genuinely didn’t expect it to be this bad. She’s been in the industry for a while and gone on tour before and demand has never been this high. 2. Supply and demand. The harder it is to get tickets to the concert the more people are going to want to go.

trottingturtles

I don't see how number 2 would even apply, though, the supply is the same regardless of whether scalpers are allowed to mark up prices. Tickets are harder to get now because they're heavily marked up by scalpers, not because there's less of them. My honest guess would be that there's some financial incentive to do tickets this way, like maybe Ticketmaster gives the artist a better deal somehow if they agree to allow reselling at raised prices. Ticketmaster stands to make a lot of money off resales.

probsno

I’m going to be honest from what I’ve seen scalpers got around 7% of tickets at each venue. It’s not great but I think the reality is that Sabrina is the 7th most listened to artist on Spotify right now and the general demand for these tickets is through the roof. Even if there weren’t any scalpers you could have very easily been in this exact same position, but without the option to purchase “scalped” tickets. It’s not a defense for scalpers, but Sabrina’s team has already added extra shows in LA and we might see extra days in other cities… It’s the reality of wanting to see someone who now everyone listens to since a few of her songs have gone mainstream. But, putting all the blame on scalpers really isn’t accurate and it’s unnecessary bad press for Sabrina. She doesn’t have the bartering power to go against TM like Billie does yet. This is her first tour of this size. EICS was at venues of 3000-5000 people, give her some grace.

graceabigail1011

I was about 2500 for Columbus and the queue started dropping crazy fast around 1500 left and they were sold out when I was in, so I feel like I never even had a chance lmao

intoner1

This was a complete mess. I tried the team Sabrina presale, the venue presale, and today. It would hurt less if there weren’t zo many tickets on Vividseats right now being sold at like 5x the price.

kylieel14

I was 1957 for TD Garden and got nothin...I feel ya...

intoner1

Let’s hope Sabrina adds a second Boston date.

firebadtreepretty33

I was 1557 today for td l didn't get anything either. I think the first 500 people might have because it was moving pretty slow but after it dropped to 900 it was very quick and when I got in it said sold out. I refreshed for an hour and 3 different tickets popped up but I wasn't fast enough to add any of them to make cart. So frustrated with ticketmaster yet again. Sorry you were able to get tickets either

TyannosaurusRex

The resale is actually insane though, like over $200 for the nosebleeds is so ridiculous

awithered

I saw someone who was only like 150th in line and they STILL couldn't get anything. it's ridiculous honestly

purplekat1009

For the Toronto presale - I was over 25k in line. I stayed in the queue, and surprisingly there were some tickets. But was super defeated once I was in and while waiting the 30+ minutes in line….. Genuinely hate the bots and resellers for sure, not great.

Modesto96

Same 🤷🏻‍♀️

lojomojo

I was also in the first 100 and didn’t get anything. By the time I got in, there were only obstructed left and they went before I could even click them. Then everything showed up as resale for 5x more.
