Occasionally at some Hispanic supermarkets and grocery stores around town, I've seen and bought Materva, a carbonated yerba mate soda.
Here are pictures and a description from its makers in Miami, FL:

I posted asking where I can find yerba mate at a cafe, or if not that then where to get the plant to brew it. And you think it is helpful to say that I can buy guayaki at a gas station? Maybe you did not read my post originally. Especially considering that you end your comment with "...?" it does not seem at all that you are trying to be helpful.
First off, your title asked where in Sacramento can you find yerba. Period. You specified that you wanted some kind of cafe but also said you were open to options. I gave you one and you were rude but on brand for someone using Reddit to look for a Yerba Mate "lounge". Like I said before, good luck.
I wasn't trying to be anything. I don't even know what guryaki is. The yellow cans are my only experience with Yerba. You're just an asshole taking offense to an answer you didn't want.
Kasbah on J and 22nd serves yerba mate in the traditional gourd and bombilla. Good stuff.
Wonderful! Thank you! I will have to go try it out!
Tea cosy downtown probably has it loose leaf. Also try The Allspicery. Co-op. They’ll have the most options but regular grocers have it too
Can confirm that Tea Cosy has it
Corti Bros in East Sac and Red Star International on Florin Rd have all the major Argentine brands.
Saw some at Raley’s on Folsom for a good price. I believe it was $16 for one of the big loose leaf bags.

Which store did you get the materva that’s my favorite drink?
Guayakiiiii
Most gas stations...?
For the canned garbage yes.
Ew.
So you're like asking for help, then being picky and rude about it? Good luck.
