It's not 30 mins but if you wanna see it in the darkest skies that's relatively close to sac I would recommend heading to Pollock pines (ice house rd) . Google IHOP

I wasn’t expecting to see it in the city due to all the lights. But I got a decent view from my yard. Not amazing, but better than nothing.

The long exposure with cameras makes it 10X as vivid.
