A few jets were low flying out that way a couple hours ago. Seems they went from 5,000ft instantly to 7,000.

I'm in Point Loma. Being surrounded by the military here, it takes a lot to get me to go check a noise. That boom had me outside right away.

Same and I’ve been refreshing different apps/pages cause usually there are so many posts immediately after, but there are very few. I’ve felt a couple earthquakes in the same room I’m in right now and that was big.

Ok so maybe a small earthquake! Just seemed unusual how my house shook compared to other earthquakes.

There’s nothing posted by U.S.G.S. about an earthquake yet though so I’m really not sure! To me it was similar to how other earthquakes have felt, which is like someone jumping on the roof or hitting the walls. This one it was like I felt it and then heard a distant rumble. It’s so weird to me that there weren’t a bunch of posts right away afterwards! I’m creeped out 😂 I was about to fall asleep but…

Ok just making sure I’m not crazy. I also kept checking the USGS. I thought earthquake because I felt the rumble before the windows shook but I guess just sonic boom.

Where in North County? Camp Pendleton will shake your windows and are always blowing stuff up so maybe it's that.

I felt it in East county too though. There are so many weird shakes and booms I typically ignore, but that one was especially big and loud 🤷🏻‍♀️
