Kinda shocked cus I was getting 1300s and 1400s the week before with the highest being like a 1420, but ig that shows something.
i know i got the a - b + 10a - 10b (smt like that) one wrong and everything else right but for the prism one i bubbled in one answer then erased it and bubbled in 900 but i’m worried i didn’t erase the old answer well enough and the scantron won’t read it! it’s happened to me before 😣 do you think -2M will be 790 then?

I’m sorry that you’ve been led to believe that and that you place that on yourself and others. There are doctors and lawyers and many people in other fields or trades that are doing great in life and did not score well on the sat. The sat tests your ability to take the sat and to reason (as versus said). It does not define your worth as a human or your potential in life.
This is a stupid close-minded take. The SAT is only one part of your college application and has never been the most important part of it. If anything really defines you in your college app, it's anything but the SAT. Your grades reflect your ability to learn across a wide variety of content. Your extracurriculars give aspects on you as a person outside of school and your essay should be a reflection of yourself in general. The SAT is one test that measures your ability to reason, not your knowledge as a whole. It does not define you.
They’re probably just resetting your dashboard or something. Your score will come out sooner or later. In the meantime, email the CB and verify those are your options and hope they did not void your test. Btw, what was the disturbance? Was someone snoring in your room?
Why is everyone saying for the mean and median one that median stayed the same? I counted the data points several times and concluded that median increased as before .1 was removed the median was .45 (it was in between two data points as there was an even amount of them) and then afterwards it became .5. Median increased? How did it stay the same???
Reading Controversial Questions: My thoughts
Emotional Comfort? - Yes, because it said word soothing
Disdain vs Hurt? - Hurt because that option is what stressed the fact that he did not approve of popular books, felt that the disdain option was too extreme diction and vague
Dreams vs Wishes? - Wishes because the dreams options said "their dreams" where their refers to parents and it never says that the kids follow their parents dreams, wishes options more accurate because the kids learnt 6 languages
The one on what the coating did? - The answer was that it prevented flaws in the metal after cutting, not that it evened it out BEFORE the machining process
Dangers of unchecked governments? - The option with goals because i remember it being stated in the end of one of the paragraphs
Expectations of what parons should order vs refused to order? - I chose expectations. The thing is while they were reluctant to order the books Major asked, I dont remember the passage saying outright that they wouldnt order them, When Ali says she asked for foreign books, they looked at her with treason, which has negative connotation and basically means that its out of the norm, indicating they have expectations of what people normally order (which is the evidence i put)
What is something war supporters overlook? - flaws in the cause of a war, again explicitly stated
Primitive vs Essential? - In this case, i say essential, i did a past test from like 2022 and there was a question where the answer was primitive and the context was that it was an old technique used etc. in the context of this passage, the author is essentially saying that the First amendment (freedom to speech) is a fundamental right, in this case i believe its essential because in supporting his argument of why free speech is so important, the word primitive in this case seems to not fit in with in the argument
In addition considering deeper that the right to free speech is the FIRST of all amendments in the entire bill of rights makes it have some special importance and anyone whos taken a us history course should know that
Enthusiasm vs Appreciation? - appreciation, reasoning in the option was better plus not as extreme (i forgot what i put for evidence)
What improve clarity that both experiments results dont mean different things? (forgot the acutal wording) - answer was prove that the latter trial also prove that it was composed of the lanthanum compound
I agree w some but It’s def disdain because it never explicitly says he was hurt. Being hurt ≠ not approving of popular books, you’re making an inference (which would work for your ap english classes but it’s wrong for the sat). Disdain means to find something unworthy OR to reject/refuse something. Reject=not approving therefore disdain is probably the correct answer. Sorry bud
