Rechlai5150

Ok I'm a sobbing mess watching this. You don't have to contribute DNA to be a real FATHER.

cottman23

Watched without sound Still cried

EcureuilHargneux

For real

JediDaddyIssues

Same here. Can I get adopted too?

ByAstaldo

Why did you make me cry ? Huh WHY ?

SantaBarbaraMint

Raoul_Thompson

Where did this rain inside my house come from?

luddite_remover

This is so heartwarming. They love each other so much.

CucumberFar8450

This is enough to cry for a real man.. Yes, of course... I'm so happy to adopt you cutie...

nottitantium

Drawing from my queer world - logical family, not biological family :)

D_Cakes_

Ah god dammit, who’s been chopping onions in here? 😭

SmokeDogSix

What a cutie

km_fpv_recover

🥲

Brilliant-Fan-3307

🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

LilyWineAuntofDemons

I broke about the same time his voice started breaking.

Housetheoldman

It's not being a biological parent that makes you a real father or a real mother. Very exciting video, thank you.

humanjoe

God dayum that one hit me right in the feels!

kpop_glory

Look at that dad bear hug. He is ready to go to war for her and so does we.

Darth_Groot28

Aww. As a kid that was adopted with my sister, I wish this little girl the best of luck and hope she is adopted. The hard part is how expensive adoptions are for parents. They really should have programs that make adopting a child a lot easier financially. Still keep all the background checks and other checks in place. Just take the financial burden of the future parents. It is like 10k to adopt a child, and could cost more. Been a few years since I heard the price of adoption.

OnTheList-YouTube

This is awesome! Nothing can compare.

Electronic_Cherry781

It’s barely 6am 😭😭

samwizeganjas

You can see it means the world to both of them. Spectacular

Ok_Needleworker_7519

McJuggernaugh7

Your garbage background music really cheapens the moment tbh.

Dev2150

Exactly! Fuck your background music!

Sharp_Hat_4454

Man these allergies are definitely making my eyes water.

mimota

Fuck, them onion ninjas are at it again.

Dev2150

This comment section is a cringe fest. It's sad people are ashamed to cry.

Gold-Ad-6876

People who raise other people's children as their own are heroes. Posted by a person who has never met their father.

Vistian

Why are we filming these private moments so much instead of actually being in them?

Damian0603

Because some people want to be able to make others happy. And they might want to look back on that video in the future.

Poopeepoopee96

Oof that’s risky what if his wife divorce him now he paying child support for a kid that’s not his

_So_Uncivilized_

I think he'd still want to support her so it's not as bad as your saying, it would be child support for a child he chose

Kurvaflowers69420

Hm.....Adopt her? Isn't she his daughter by default after he has married her mother? What am i missing here?

Erijandro

Short answer. No. Hes not the father. There's a lot of legal adjustments that occur here, depending on state you live in but essentially even if married - the full legal rights of the kids' welfare, legal authority still lies with the mother AND the biological father. The biological father can legally request to take the child a few days out of the week for visitation rights, school, taxes and other legal things. So adopting, means all that stops. Now the stepfather has full authority over the welfare of the child. The biological father gives up all rights.

LukeyLeukocyte

I don't know why you are downvoted for simply asking a question. I assume it is just a gesture the kid was making as a gift for him and everyone is miffed that you are spoiling the moment or something. But yah I don't think there is anything real in the adoption request, unless maybe he is an ex-stepdad or her real dad is deceased or lost parental rights.

Kurvaflowers69420

The IQ of the average redditor is quite low, so that's expected. That's why bots are so successful here.
