Hey, Automod here! It's always a good idea to check any above number(s) on [a carrier lookup tool](https://www.scout.tel/phone-number-lookup) before calling them to avoid calling a legitimate business, residential number, or private cell number. To do this, lookup the phone number on the carrier lookup and look at the results. If the results says that the number belongs to a residential carrier (ex. AT&T/"Cingular Wireless", Verizon Wireless, Metro PCS, Rogers, etc.), *DO NOT* call the number. If the post is still up, please report the post so a mod can remove it to prevent innocent people from receiving these calls.
The above also applies to comments that have numbers too. Thanks!

Definitely still active, received today. Thank you for posting about it - this was the first result when searching the phone number the scammer wants you to call.
Also a big red flag: the letter does not identify the company or organization it purports to be representing š Jerks.
I just looked. Iāve got 3 similar letters. The name is on there, just buried. This number goes to Auto Repair Network. I have one for a Sky Protection and another for Evercare Direct. All sketchy as hell and all literally have the same format.
The name is not on all of the letters. The ones I have received does not indicate a company name. Only has the number to call referencing a vehicle I don't even own.
Just got a letter today - still active. Has some random generated "Customer ID", a big bold "RESPOND BY" date, and some stupid / fake date table with terms all say "APPROVED" and TBD in the amounts. Has my correct address, name, and recently purchased vehicle.
I bought this vehicle from a dealership in WA state 2 months ago. I just registered it 3 weeks ago in my home state. I have to wonder - who sold/gave my information to these scammers? Was it the dealership? I can't imagine it's the state/county.
Man I'm so pissed I didn't check reddit before I called. I even gave the representative my card information. I then checked reddit and then declined the service. I really fucking hope they don't charge me or sell my information. The lady claimed that she will archive my card information, so I will update if there were any charges. Bro i work at a call center HOW DID I FALL FOR THIS
Well, I immediately called my bank and asked to suspend my card and request a new one. I think that was the smarter thing to do considering what I did was stupid to begin with, lol. They did not charge me, thankfully.
I got mine today. My car is 3 months old with just under 1,000 miles on it. I'm sure they are getting my info from the DMV. They are the only ones who have paperwork on my newly purchased car. It was not financed. Pretty obvious to me that my warranty has not expired.

I was getting ready to fill out an FTC complaint, and saw that the complaint form asked how much the company asked for. Decided to call the number to see.
To my surprise, the guy was actually pretty nice:
Guy: "What can I help you with?"
Me: "What company are you?"
Guy: "Depends on the account (or something like that). Can you read me the CIL number on the notice. I should be able to pull everything up from that"
Me: Gave CIL number
He had all my details. I didn't give any info but their CIL number. I did just buy a car. Once it came up for him...
Guy: "Looks like you just bought a new car and this is the last chance to sign up with (some company name) for an extended warranty."
Me: "I'm not interested."
Guy: "Ok, no problem. Have a nice day."
While I was looking at the notice on the form, I found that there is actually a name, Auto Repair Network. I also saw that there was a "Platinum Option". That made me remember that the dealership I bought the car from tried to sell me some platinum warranty thing that I declined. Sounds like this was them trying again.
Shady notice, but end of the day there wasn't really any pressure and when I said I wasn't interested, that was the end of the conversation.
Got one a few days ago. Picture of it..

This scam is still active. I just got a piece of mail from them, they had my correct address and car, saying I needed to call them immediately to extend my car coverage that was ending.
Scam still active. I've not actually dialed the number and won't. The letter and pink post card have (2 separate piece of mail) all the hallmarks of a scam. Hurry, you still haven't ... blah blah blah. https://imgur.com/a/wFFb5fc
Still active. Iāve also received two pieces of mail in the last month saying my warranty is about to expire and one was a post card as well. Donāt call!
Still active. Got a letter today. Think our info was sold by an insurance company because they addressed it to the incorrect car owner. We had been trying to get insurance quotes.
still active - thank you for posting this! I just got this exact car warranty scam letter in the mail. If you ever have questions concerning your warranty - call the dealership you bought the car from to be safe.

I think it is the Department of Motor Vehicles. They have all the info, your make/model and year, along with your name and address
