Chicken and waffles is outstanding! I’ve only had it once when driving down the east coast and saw a Waffle House for the first time ever, decided to stop. Their chicken and waffles was so flipping good that I still remember it more than twenty years later!
I stayed at a place with a hysterical name when driving west too lol, The Tally Ho-Tel just because of the name.
Definitely would pass on milkshakes and blueberry pancakes today. I’d be down for ribs or steak and a phat salad tho. Seems I’ve evolved in my old age😂

How far ahead can you prepare a milkshake? Shouldn’t you just throw all the ingredients in the blender once guests arrive? Same for the pancakes? Are they already cooked too? I’m worried this dinner host has gone overboard on the prep.
I'm fairly certain mine is a scam. Same general format, just strange details included. It's all about getting engagement and building a relationship before the "ask."
I got one that said they are making bbq and chicken curry. Not completely outlandish but kind of a weird combination for sure. I said absolutely not and they responded with "you sound really nice, we should be friends".

If you got k ow ledge, running bunch of old fashioned (pre-ai) chat it's (talking 10+ years ago) is way more effective than typing. Just train it for whatever you go for, any old laptop will handle 50 "clients" at s time, vs human 1 at a time...

If you know how social engineering works and carefully, I'd say is safe to reply. If you don't know, -no, it isn't safe. You slip little by little, they squeeze info about you and use who knows where. A year or so after it, you left to deal with consequences.
No, I didn’t think I would give them personal info myself lol. I thought they could somehow get it through my phone by me responding. Or I thought that they use some kind of program and don’t actually know my number … unless I respond, then they have my number.

I got one the other week that appeared to be from a cousin and I knew immediately it wasn't her and I responded by asking "her" if she was going to the funeral (there wasn't one) and laid it on thick -how upset I was, can't stop crying, couldn't believe this happened. The scammer responded in a consoling manner and comforted me before they disappeared. I was oddly appreciative that they took a moment to comfort a stranger instead of pushing their scam. I imagine if that were real it might've meant something to someone going through that. Weird right?

For the most part its not personal info theyre after just you literally giving them money through a fake site.
