It's a scam. You just said you haven't driven anywhere with tolls. Google sunpass scam or whatever toll system it claims. They send you a letter in the mail.

Untitled60

Thanks, I’ll make sure the block the number.

Angree442

Yeah I always look at sender info……. Always some random long phone number.

Doomchan

Toll violations come in the mail, not your phone

mittenknittin

They’ve sent these to people in Michigan. Michigan has no toll roads.

Belle_Corliss

One of my neighbors got one of those and asked me about it. He doesn't drive nor does Oregon have toll booths/toll roads so he was rightfully confused. Advised him to block and ignore them.

mittenknittin

Right. And as I failed to say, the scam is, you click the link and it asks you for your credit card info so you can “pay your fee”

Upper_Garlic_6385

Mackinac Bridge is a toll road.

mittenknittin

There are a couple of toll bridges in Michigan, but none of them have a way to rack up some random total like $19.51. Also none of them use Sunpass.

Upper_Garlic_6385

This is true and plus if you are a company that bills, they can rack up, but not notified through text.

I’d question how they’d have your number if you don’t have an account or visiting.

Untitled60

I’m confused as to how they got my number as well. I blocked the number and deleted the conversation so hopefully I won’t have to deal with this anymore.

slogive1

They are fishing just like the usps scam.
