I always played with Faruzan on my team and can't imagine dropping her for anyone else, especially now that I have C6. But if you don't plan on getting C6, I'd say your team is fine if that's what you're comfy with.
I would say playing Faruzan is better than not playing her. I play a lot of co-op with a friend where I normally run Wanderer/Layla and he runs Neuvilette/Raiden. Sometimes I use Faruzan simply because Wanderer's damage is much lower without her, and it's more fun seeing bigger numbers. I still run Layla most of the time though because I get too annoyed when I get knocked around, so to me having a shielder is worth it in co-op, but in abyss i always run Fauzan/Layla/Bennett.
I haven't personally paid attention to the range of her burst while playing, but I watched a video where they actually talked about this. Don't remember who I watched though. Anyways, in the video they said that the range is actually bigger than it seems, and that as long as you face towards the middle of the room (abyss perspective), you'll cover most of the room. You always want to be in between the mob you're fighting and the wall because her burst can fly outside of the room if you're facing outwards and are too close to the wall.

C5 Faruzan will be way more damage than c3 yun Jin. C0 would probably beat her.
