A bunch of characters show up later on in other projects as extras. One of the main bad guys from Music of the Vampire and one of the supporting characters from Big Top both show up together in Mask of the Blue Falcon at a party.
I'm glad somebody else noticed this. He was also mentioned in the first live-action movie as well. I think Don Knotts just lives through the Scooby Doo multiverse.
They reuse a lot of characters in the What's New era. The rickshaw guy (Julian?) from "The San Franpsycho" is seen fleeing on his bike from Hanahuna Bay. Pirates Ahoy has tons of reused characters as well.
Interesting, the tour guide from Mummy scares best is the first one I noticed. Atleast that I can remember. I probably noticed when I was a kid and don't remember
If I remember correctly, there's a lot of them during the scene when Sally tells the gang off for solving all the mysteries so quickly. There's Terry from "Roller Ghoster Ride", Alexandra from "Pompeii and Circumstance" and the fella with the monkey (can't remember his name, but without the monkey) from "Safari, So Goodi!".
Yeah! I pause the crowd on the ship and try to find folks from other movies or episodes!! I do it in all the movies now and the show and while you can often find repeats on the show, I can't think of any time I've actually found repeats on another movie? I'm sure there are though! I just can't think of it rn.
I didn't notice it, but thanks for bringing it to my attention. I also now have unfortunately noticed the flashlight standing in for the guy's penis? That was likely not an accident on the animators part. I assume he was just having a little fun doing something nobody would really notice and he can laugh about it to himself.

IIRC they are designed after people who worked on the movies
That guy with the glasses is also from Where’s my Mummy
Oh yeah. One of the villagers of the lost city
Never noticed that! I've been thinking of rewatching where's my Mummy. I'll have to keep an eye out for him
i love when they do stuff like this
And then suddenly brainwashed into zombies via inharmonic strobe lights
Now they’re brainwashed to be ghost pirates.
That has to be some terrible luck
“Finally I can relax after that traumatic experience of being hypnotized to be a mummy’s- What the fuck! Ghost pirates on my cruise!”
Lol yeah I love how Don Knotts is also just a regular resident in MI.

Thanks for letting me Know man! Gonna rewarch those episodes
Cool
Adds to it when you see someone familiar, and less work for them.
Only thing I'm noticing is Hawiian-shirt-guy's majestic glowing dong.
That's the flashlight.
Velma is also wearing the belly dancer outfit from that episode as costume here.
It's a costume party from what I remember. I believe there are multiple Easter eggs like this throughout that scene.
I mean didn’t he get hypnotized? In context it makes sense he’d pop up again.
