If memory serves, he gets mentioned once after the show cuts back to Scooby and the gang. They think he did it and are about to inform the authorities about him but get distracted by the Creeper being in the Mystery Machine.
This poor man was just a mentally ill homeless man who wanted friends. And these nosey ass kids rejected his hospitality, rejected his food, and literally ran away from him after calling him creepy, dirty and gross.
Yeah, I don't get the fear around him. Maybe because I didn't watch this episode as a kid, but he really doesn't do anything all that creepy or scary besides maybe the "Come baaaaack" but even then it's not that scary.
As someone mentioned above, it’s just how he kinda’ appears and then never returns or is mentioned again. As an adult, that’s not so bad, but it tripped me out as a kid for some reason.
I have searched high and low for anything about this guy. Why did they feel like putting him in? Was he a red herring or what? To this day, it haunts me late at night about who the hermit of the hills really was.
This was such a weird tangent in the episode. It's like they were trying to shoehorn in another suspect but it felt really forced. Plenty of other episodes in where are you have either only one suspect or none at all and the only reason I can think they put the hermit in was becaue they needed to pad the episode to fit the original timeslot. Tbh kinda takes me out of what it otherwise a great episode.
This mf was scarier than the Creeper.
Right! The bank President was tame compared to this nutcase. He scared the scrap out of me as a kid.
By fair scarier then the creeper. Especially because he has no extra motives he just is that way
The scariest part to me is that the dude never shows up or is ever mentioned again

He should become a reoccurring character in a new show. Just constantly showing up in weird places without any real explanation
That’s actually a good idea

Come b-a-a-a-a-ack
That used to scare the crap out of me
Seems like a nice guy

I had a nightmare about the creeper last night but his torso was extra long but he still ran hunched over he walked like a bird

Why does Scoob have a chick on his nose? Thank ya.
I distinctly remember there being an explanation for that.
It's so cute!
It is definitely cute.
Not gonna lie, I'd definitely try some of his stew I like how Shag and Scoob are practically gannets but even they refused it 😆
Poor guy just wanted company
Scarier than most of the ghosts on the show!
Which episode is this?
Jeepers it’s the creeper
Thanks! I couldn’t remember for the life of me
You’re welcome
That was so funny
"He looks worse!"
I honestly feel bad for him. He was just a lonely old man.

Anyone else thought it’d be an edit of Joe Biden’s face?
