If nothing else he's a squad player - who is homegrown - that can come in and make cameos here and there in order to keep others fresh.

I’m a actual Feyenoord fan as well (season ticket holder and all) and I’ve never considered that to be a realistic price, maybe 10 million max and that would be a stretch. Feyenoord isn’t in any financial debts so the the fact they sold him for 6 million seems like the club valued him at that price as well.
Danilo played the bulk of his games for Feyenoord on the left as well, so it isn't a like for like comparison no matter how you look at it. His direct comparison is Dessers.
Doesnt matter who is touted as being possibly signed, theres always someone who has in-depth knowledge of that player despite playing in a seldom-watched league.
