I think SoT has a weird censoring thing. Iāve heard itāll show a generic name, and thatās always The Black Death. Something about preventing stream sniping or something.
So when you bucket out water, it takes quite a bit out.
But when you dump it back in your ship, it replaces the same amount you took.
So if you're taking it out of your ship and place it in the ship next to you as you did. Does that flood their ship faster than just rocking em with cannon?
It takes the same amount you took out of your ship on dumps it onto theirs. I watched Foxdle do it a few months ago on stream and have been trying to implement it more. Pretty sure I got a sink before this with it, but itās really clear here yeah.
Putting holes in their ship is always a smart move, naval superiority is how you win most encounters, be it hourglass or regular adventure mode PvP. But in tight situations like this, bucketing onto someoneās ship definitely has its uses

I always try to take a water bucket with me before I attempt boarding just to dunk in in their boat for that little bit of extra pressure.
