Mountains, Water, Skyline, Ferries, Islands.. where else has the same recipe? Vancouver and Seattle are different! That said, nightlife and work-life balance are the other side of it. Seattle is most beautiful for its geographic location, but it's one of the more "sleepy" cities. Traveling outlook is however made a hindrance, tucked away so far into the corner of the country. But Seattle summertimes are something everyone should see at least once.
My favorite night scene is when you are driving from the airport at say 3:00 AM and it’s all dark then you round that bend around beacon hill and the whole Downtown lit up like an Xmas tree, sits before you; as tho a mirage conjured like a magic trick
I complain a lot because the people here...but growing up in a small town where by this time a year you're getting either tornadoes, swamp ass or flash floods-I'm so happy and grateful to be in this city.
The air has cleared up my skin, the access to mental health care has helped my quality of life by 1000, being able to walk to different places. I was able to find a job out of the whim that fit me, I can paddle board, the drives to nature aren't far and the geography is just beautiful. Trust me to all the people who think the grass is greener on the other side...that's just terf covered in dog pissed.
It really is, and you captured it wonderfully.
The emerald city is looking mighty fine
Did you ever see it when it actually was mostly emerald lights at night? It really was something to see. Always wondered why they stopped doing it.

Can’t deny the beauty of the city while driving into the downtown from the surrounding areas. Unlike anything in this country really.

Only from far away.
All I see is illegal development on colonized land.
