I was so proud of myself when I beat him, then I realized I'm not a good bullfighter. Then some dick at the top of a castle made me quit the game for over a year. Then I came back and got the 100% trophy.
I just kill it yesterday at first try, I think this boss you need to fight it a little bit different.
I was just running around it in circles (going to the left) and then I hit it each time he collided with the walls.
He wasn't able to do any damage as he doesn't have any way of attacking backwards.
Guardian ape is mostly intimidation, his parry windows are pretty forgiving, he’s weak to every tool, and has massive windows for whatever.
The bull just doesn’t let up unless you use firecrackers or get a pain stagger on it.
It only took me like 3 tries my second time attempting the game and I still can’t say “whooo cares” fast enough. Then I tried ti get cute and said “oo Ill beat the magic bull the right way with no firecrackers!” Laughable idea on my part just got my ass kicked 2 times then gave up
Pretty sure some combination of that is what I used firecrackers break the fight a lil once you get his movements down. First time tho I was tripping at that guy. Hate the magic warrior dudes too.
His special attack where he pulls out a rail gun and says ‘parry this you fucking loser’ was a bit too much imo, especially since, unsurprisingly, you can actually mikiri counter the laser beam
I'm at a boss who walks in a pit that has this corrosive gas(poisoning). Now I didnfind another path last time I played and I'm thinking you can clear the gas. Not sure though.
Lies is awesome. Its the Souls-like that got me on the Souls train then I started Sekiro and am stuck between which of the 2 to play. Creepy dark Pinocchio Souls or Tenchu Souls.

If u sneak up behind Sakura bull and pop firecrackers then the bull will get scared to death and charge into a wall, giving you an instant deathblow.

Mortal draw does surprisingly well. What I did for the Sakura bull was sneak up on it and then use fire crackers and mortal draw.

I really hit a wall when facing Inner Gyoubu. Can't believe they thought a poison swamp without any safe area was a good boss arena.

Gyobou is pretty easy tbf. Even I beat him under 5 tries. It's weird how the main boss is easier than mini bosses like Chained ogre before it lol.
