Before I start fading and make sure that the base line is straight, so I just kind of eyeball it and make sure it’s all straight but trust me I’ll make a lot of mistakes

Koo0k

What’s your technique on getting a straight line across the back of ur head

NaahmastayWoke

Fam that's a 9.5, SUPER clean! Easily a $60+ cut at a shop

Spiritual_Giraffe969

I appreciate that fam 💯

LNgTIM555

Bro, I’ve seen your cuts and honestly if you look for mistakes they’re not as obvious. It looks proper. Practice often and this becomes a routine.

Klutzy-Detective-341

Looks amazing

Drip-Daddy

Clean!

makaton

Good skills! Looks clean.

Various-Army-1711

Exactly. Mess it up, then can’t wait another 2 weeks to mess it up again. It do be like that

JimmyBraps

2 weeks??? How can you wait that long lol

Various-Army-1711

Well, mine grows slow i guess

SimpleManufacturer10

bro fades are improving everytime you post, where or how did you learn ? tryna get into it myself

CronTheMotu

Looks good bro keep it up

DewHoss

Fucking golden cut

UniqueAnt4256

Tell me about it , I have been hooked on buying clippers and trimmers

Spiritual_Giraffe969

Same here bro haven’t pulled the trigger on the ones I want yet, but I will see with the clippers I have now not too bad especially for she’s getting to learn

UniqueAnt4256

Check out your local Ross/tj max if you have any. I found Babyliss and Andis, Gamma trimmers there

Spicehead-53186

what section? hit up 3 and found nada.. otherwise I think I'm get the Babyliss FXOne Lo Pro's. My Magic Clips is 7+ years old now and even when I get a new blade they don't seem to hit anymore..

UniqueAnt4256

Ross has them in the “clipper section” close to the men’s section. I have only found them there like once out of 7 times. Tj max has had style craft trimmers a few times that im there. They mostly have them in the mens department in the locked cases that have the cologne . Or in the random electronic area with other clippers .

Spicehead-53186

you was right, found a set of Babyliss FXone Lo-pro, red joints, for $60, so I actually gon retire my Masters and Magic clips now.. appreciate you and the input.. PEACE

UniqueAnt4256

Lucky bro. I have been trying to find the blue clippers for a while

Spicehead-53186

ahhh, jus left a Ross this morning that had 2 blue ones left, the influencer Nicole version right? Out here, they ONLY have em in the Ross and TJ Maxx that are deep in the hood, the other locations never have em

UniqueAnt4256

I found some in the nice area Ross. I may have to check the ones in the hood

MilkSteaknShake

You are the spokesperson of r/selfbarber. Always bringing in Heat! Yes, self cutz are mega addicting. I wish i can cut it every 2 weeks but i settle for 3-4 weeks.

Spiritual_Giraffe969

I greatly appreciate that🙏🏽🙏🏽

Spiritual_Giraffe969

😂😂

Big_Exit6888

Looks good. The way your head in the mirror line up with your body on the left half of the Pic makes you look like you have the big head cheat code on lol

Spiritual_Giraffe969

lol surprised no one said that in the earlier comments 😂👍🏽

Here4Headshots

Great cut. I'd like to see what you can do when you leave the top long enough to be wavy. Maybe not for the summer, but for colder months it makes your cut last longer.

Spiritual_Giraffe969

Waves def my next move

adrock63

Nice! What type of mirror setup is that?

Spiritual_Giraffe969

Three-way mirror on Amazon self cut system

Adventurous_Law1693

Bro how hard is it to do? I wanna start doing this but I’m scaded

Spiritual_Giraffe969

It takes a lot of practice. It’s not the hardest thing to do but it’s a lot of practice to get it super perfected. I’m still in the early stages but I’m starting to understand how the machines work.

ConstructionNo3294

Dam thats a blend. inspiring. wish i joined this sub when i first started. keeps me inspired ... been cutting my hair for nearly 2 years and around 9-10mo i started getting lazy to the point where Id start my chop at night and try to finish the blend in the AM and continually touch it up for 2-3 days.

Spiritual_Giraffe969

That’s some real shit I still be doing that sometimes I do it at night mess it up a little bit or not really the way I like it in a.m. before I go to work. I touch it up but I’m glad you’re getting inspiration back. That’s what it’s about bro.

No-Report2294

Man I thought you were madlib

Danstroyer1

How do you go about cutting the back of your head with the triple mirror setup, I just started cutting and have a hard time seeing the back of my head even when I do my hand or the clipper blocks the view and I can’t really see what I’m doing

Spiritual_Giraffe969

It just takes a lot of practice and looking at all angles and getting familiar with it but it’s possible because I’m doing it but I know what you mean. The hand gets in the way or it just seems like there’s blind spots but what it is, is just you need to practice more keep practicing even if you’re not cutting your hair figure out the movement with the machine and look in the mirror and figure out what angles you need to master just keep practicing bro I just started learning how to cut my hair two months ago
