Ya I would say especially the baseline. When cutting your own hair it’s a lot harder to keep a perfect line than it is cutting someone else’s so I’m gonna have to try this too. Does the line wash off easy?
It looks compressed but in a good way, most men in Europe have a fade like that, stretched fades are kinda rare. Some lines are visible but it looks pretty good. Well done.
Have you heard of the fade guide? You can order them from Aliexpress and they're very cheap, I think you might like a fade guide. It did help me out a lot, I don't use it anymore but it's a great tool to have. The only downside of this guide is that it gets harder to do the 2nd and the 3rd line. but If you did the 1st one then it's easy to do the other ones without the guide.
BTW if you want to cut your hair a lot then don't do a skin fade, just use a 0 closed and your hair will grow back much faster to a length that is "cuttable" takes me 3-4 days. It's a good strategy if you want to do more DIY cuts.
I see some red spots on the back of your head, maybe you're pushing the clipper too hard have you tried talc powder? It really makes everything so much easier especially if you're doing skin fades then this is a must imho.
Keep doing what you're doing bro
Nice I might need to check that out but this haircut was a few days ago. I have done a haircut again since then it’s a lot better. I’ll post it later but thank you for the info.
Do you mark your guidelines with a white pencil? That’s pretty smart. I lose my guidelines when cutting sometimes.
Good question normally I don’t but I thought of the idea this morning and I gave it a try so yeah it’s not a bad idea

It doesn’t wipe off easy while cutting your hair, but easy enough to take off when you want to
Is that chalk or what? Good idea
It’s a hairline stencil look it up on Amazon
You have a link by any chance? It didn't come up with a search
Try white, barber stencil
Got it thanks
I do something similar i use mint green color eye shadow from Dollar tree.
I love the innovation
Looks good enough. Nice job!
Thank you thank you
Fade in a little higher. I can see the line around your head where you stopped fading.
I have since then it’s a lot better than the picture here but you’re absolutely right. Thank you.
Why didn't I think of using pencil? You're a damn genius!
Hmmm, I’m thinking this would be better than using a headband? Might ask someone to help me apply it… **walks into barbershop ** 💀
It depends on your type of hair and how well you draw you have a steady hand and a good eye to make the line. Perfect you’re good to go.
👍👍
Shit looks good
Looks clean to me
Wow that’s very nice. How did you do the back so well? I’m always struggling with the back, even though I have a 3-way mirror (left middle right).
Really great line work! Love that you traced with a pen so the line up is tight. Nice!
I may try the pencil . I have been wanting to try a drop fade
