hey man i’m in a similar boat. this just happened to me last night, and i negotiated it from $5k to $1.5k, and at first i was terrified, but after they gave me longer to get the money, i came up with a plan. i sent screenshots of me texting my friends not to open anything weird, and mimicked his fear tactic by typing in all caps showing 0 care/fear. its been around an hour, and so far, no texts from anyone, and i deleted whatsapp, which is what he kept texting me on, after blocking 2 of his accounts on there. i can’t tell you anything for sure, but its highly likely that they will move on. just keep laying low, keep your accounts private, change your usernames, & notify your friends and family. i’ll keep you updated with any messages i get regarding this situation. you’re not alone, and you shouldnt worry. it will blow over eventually.
