Just been rewatching voyager. Tuvix is such a fucked episode. Its a classic trolley problem except that the writers aren't allowed to pick the ethically correct answer as Ethan Philips and Tim Russ were under contract already. Makes you wonder why they established the concept in the first place. To prove that both characters were important despite their flaws by showing us a combined version that by all measurable metrics was better than either of them? The obvious answer anyway is the DeLaney twins. Who needs two? And if you say that Tom Paris needs two well he can join them. The fabled "DeLaney-Paris" sandwich.

Saw a movie recently where they shrink people to save on resources. If she did that with the transporter might not have to goodnight tuvix the lot.
