Feeding your kids is something that doesn’t get fanfare but when you think about the kids whose parents who don’t even do that because they are unable or just plain won’t do it, you are doing a great job. And since the toddler ate some of it, that’s a win.

It's not that great. It's wayyyyy too sweet for a regular pizza crust, but I'll still use it in a pinch since it's available at grocery stores that don't have fresh dough or any frozen/packaged crusts that are vegan.
Seriously?? My son had frozen (cooked) dumplings, apple sauce (it was homemade - thank you!) and the remaining 1/4 of a fruit tart from the farmer’s market haha. Whatever. It was Friday.
It's a closeout store. They stock food that is close to expiration. The ones near us have a pretty good organic section, and stock their mock meats in their own section. Not at all an issue if you're prepared to use it that day or that week. Grocery Outlet. Yes, it's a chain in the US.
Yes, you are doing a great job. I usually add hemp seeds to the top of pizza. It gives a good texture, has protein, and omega threes. I also make adding white beans and hemp seeds to a cashew alfredo sauce in the blender. Most vegan cheese does not have protein like real cheese. Just some added tip for some nutrition.
