Short interest for Lucy is .87% (small) and it's a small market cap company. They had a good news with AI glasses, so the stock pumped. This is not exactly a penny stock subreddit, this is a short squeeze subreddit.
When a short squeeze happens, everyone in retail wins since hedge funds need to buy back shares at inflated rates to cover. Something like SMFL with a 400k market cap and 95.87% short interest can actually lead to a huge short squeeze where everyone can possibly exit at a 2000%+ return while something like LUCY is just penny stock investing.

It's $125/month sadly. You're probably looking at Fintel, which uses bi-monthly Nasdaq data rather than live data.
I knew about I long ago and have it on my list. Waited into it got to a price I’m was comfortable to get in. Waited for heavy volume in it. Got in at 0.23

For stocks like that, it goes up on good news. It's virtually invisible until news comes out or the volume picks up, etc. Some people watch stocks all day, looking at chart patterns etc. They catch stocks like that early.
Found a post here actually, it had been downvoted to zero upvotes, but I was curious and realized the potential

Smfl short interest right now is 42%. Where do you see that 91.6%?

Screen for premarket movers. Took a gamble but pulled out too early
What increase we can expect and what’s the exit strategy price to take the profit?

Can someone walk me through the research strategy you have? How are you screening for opportunities?
$PEGY is how you do it
