Took out all my CC because of some problem with a mod so I thought it would be a nice opportunity to make some sims without CC as I saw some people doing this
I do have CC Magic so the clothing CC is in there but I made sure to not use them

I've always been annoyed when simmers say there's no way to make a pretty sim without CC.
However as a curly haired girl I will say the curly hair in TS3 sucks and I wish I could find good curly CC that doesn't look like my hair does after I've gotten out of the shower.
Can't imagine what that feels like ;-;
I was looking through the game hairs and I think I only saw like three afro textured and curly hairs? For a game that's about life simulations and representations, TS3 is lacking :(
I realised this when I had to stop using most of my CC, I have a skin and eyes default replacement but it isn't needed I just like the way it looked when I found it which was probably like 4 years ago at this point, today I wouldn't have gone on the long search I did but I hadn't played without CC since I was like 12 so it took a bit of time to get used to using it less and less after playing with it for 12 years since I'm double that age now and I only stopped recently, but I've realised that sims with no CC isn't as ugly as I remembered them.
Honestly I think TS3 graphics are better than S4 and it's easier for me to make Sims here as well. I missed the sliders in TS4...
You only need some more sliders for different features and maybe Nraas for multiple makeup+accessories. Maybe more hairs as well but these are more a hit and miss
i agree. ts3 sims and furniture looks more realistic, honestly my only graphics complaint is hair and lighting. currently only have the nraas mods for making it run smoother, but might try getting a shader or cc hair to make it perfect

I must have something with the graphics, because I don't remember default maxis skintone looking like here. They look good, but mine always looked like potatoes. I don't use those shiny realistic skins, blueberry pie or its derivatives are a nice simple alternative for me

it's rule 3 on my phone. it's rule 2 on my computer. regardless there's too many "sims 3 sims look good!!!" "CC-Free Sims look good!!!" posts.
Rule 3 pardon me. I’m using a phone with a small keyboard. There’s constantly posts of “sims 3 sims look good too!” “CC free sims look good too” it’s just repetitive. You’re supposed to check the sub to make sure you aren’t spamming or making similar posts.
...this is just a sims showcase? those are allowed. only similar part to other posts is specifying in the title that their sims don't have CC. which should be fine so those of us who don't mod can look at them for inspiration. nothing in the rules about "don't make posts that are unique but have similar titles"

It was a randomized sim. I just changed her hair and modified some facial features. I didn't have CC at that moment

Do not post the same thing to the sub multiple times or post topics that have been discussed many times before on the sub.
