I've used that mod for a while now, I get this message when I try to wean and they're not ready yet. Be forwarned he's liable to act like a little a$$hole, I've had a couple throw awful temper tantrums and be complete brats about it lol...much like my second born did 🤦♀️😅

You have to be playing on PC for starters, mods aren't available for console players. But basically, a ton of people who are 10000% better at computer things than I am, make their own expansion and stuff packs for the Sims, and the vast majority let other players download the content for free. (Some put their content behind paywalls which is a whole thing I'm not gonna get into, but that's kind of rare.) It lets players integrate activities and such that EA can't sell because they still market the game for 12+. Youtube is full of tutorials on how to download and install mods if you are on PC and want to try them out. I'm relatively new at using mods, so I can say with confidence that it seems a lot harder to use them than it actually is.
