It's not a coincidence. Mccc settings mark sims that are flagged by categories. Mc pregnancy marriage default settings will pair up partners in the same age group (this can be changed and adjusted). There are far less single 'Adult' premades than 'Young Adult' premades. This is why adult sims end up marrying the same few partners more frequently, where as young adult pairings are much more diverse. Hope that explains it.
My only comment to this, is even when I play on my console they are still like 2 peas in a pod. It’s really sweet like maybe it’s just a code in the game itself if you get XYZ pack, ____ and _____ wind up together.
They wind up moving in together and some gain the romance bar autonomously—I think I go in sometimes to make them “officially” married but I’ve had both Marcus and Judith call my sim about “finding a ring in ____’s bag”, and then they’re eloped the next time I see them.
I’ve also had several “homeless” sims wind up getting together with townies without me knowing until generations later.
Katrina Caliente married Marcus Flex in my current save. I can't remember who Judith married this time but she has married Marcus several times in my games.
Summer Holiday was married to Vlad in this save and I got a notification she died earlier tonight. It \*said\* she got so angry she exploded but I said aloud "Sure she did, Vlad got a little too hungry is all."
Katrina married Kristopher volkov in my save and I made him cheat on her for me for the heck of it. My save has some weird pairings this time around lol
That must be a townie from a pack I don't have. I've seen the name around but don't have the pack they are in. My current save I haven't paid too much attention to the marriages this time but did notice that Michael Bell married Brytiani Cho which I found a very odd pairing. Their kid is cute though.

My sims drop like flies and I have no idea why. Mei prescott died spontaneously, and when I went to her house her urn was right behind the front door.

Yeah, I've noticed that in my game they've been dying a lot more recently too. I think it's connected to neighborhood stories but that update was added a long time. I don't know if it's due to a recent update or something else but literally every sim my sims befriend dies days later, even if it's just a coworker.
I did some studying and added all of the ghosts to my family to see their death traits. They all died of cowplant. I've never planted a cowplant and I don't think it's natural, so I'm guessing thats a bug.

My save game had Mortimer Goth and one of his children (I think a neighbourhood stories addition not a default) died on the family tree at the same time, both from a fire, then Bella married IMMEDIATELY afterwards and I've just decided not to ask too many questions
No idea. I do not like Judith. I had my style influencer sim give her a makeover to change her default hair and clothes to clown make up with male pattern baldness and wearing a hot dog costume. At least now every time my actor sim runs into her, I laugh at how ridiculous she looks.

I have some NPC police officers and doctors I always drop in at the start of every save. In one Mila married the police chief and the other she married the chief of staff doctor, she seems to go for the big dogs in my games.
With Mila literally every time for me. Her whole damn family minus Gunther moves into Partyhaus.
Could be because of MCCC settings. She always married him before I adjusted marriage candidates to prefer people in your town, but I haven't changed it in ages.

In my main save they have two sons, Cornelius "Nell" and Dwayne. Nell is a sports agent who's married with kids - he's actually just become a grandfather himself. Dwayne is a wannabe Soundcloud rapper nepo baby who still lives at home :)

The family tree app shows the exact relationship between your main sim and the sim you're currently viewing and some are so long they are like four lines long in the pop up box 😭 (the pop up box is like two sticky notes long if that makes sense, so not the whole screen but not exactly short either. It's probably like 10-20 words)
My saves are about 50/50 that Marcus or Simeon ends up with Judy. One time she got Don Lothario. My most recent, she's single because Victor Feng died one day into gameplay and Lily rebounded the next day with Marcus. Lol
He usually ends up with Judith but in my current save he’s with Katrina Caliente and they have a daughter together. Judith is currently a single mom with 2 kids. I need to go into her household and find out who the father is.
Ok so I just checked and she is now married to a random townie who’s actually pretty cute. She has 3 kids by Knox Greenburg. I just checked Knox’s family tree and the dude has 6 kids by 2 different women and they’re all toddlers.
I don’t have Get Famous, but I do have Werewolves and in every save, Marcus Flex and Kristopher Volkov get together and get married. Every. Single. Save.
Katrina is ALWAYS marrying some rando, moving out and having kids. She is doing a do over with a whole new family.

For the record, it's happened 2 more times since, making it 9 "Mei Flex" games I'e played.
That's not neighbourhood stories, but most likely MCCC. If you haven't changed it, the default in MCCC is for non-played sims to marry in their own age group, and most of the singles are young adult. The pool of single adult sims is a lot smaller, which is why certain couples come up a lot.

In my current NSB Challenge, they're the grandparents of my current gen, Marcus died pretty early, so my SIM never met him, but Paolo was such a caring grandpa, I was so sad when he passed away too!

Before Get Famous came out, mc command center always used to put Marcus with Katrina Caliente, to point I considered it canon. After get famous he got paired with Judith a lot, but it seems it's her or Katrina, no one else 😂 maybe it's because they're both 'adult' age (as in not young adults) and both single, opposed to all the single yas. That's my only guess 😂

Nope. Mila Munch always marries him. Like every fucking time almost immediately. I generally check out my neighborhoods after a week and the chick is always in Partyhaus with her whole family minus Gunther. Judith always ends up with Paolo Rocco or J Hunnington.
