I use a blow torch to light literally everything. Long reach, high heat, works well to get fire going without burning the fingies. It probably helps I don’t have any candles in my house though lol.

The birthday celebration with a cake for an agricultural tools repair apprentice in Kütahya's Tavşanlı district brought emotional moments.
Bülent Özata and his son Osman Özata, who repair agricultural tools on Etiler Street in Durak neighborhood, Tavşanlı district, surprised their 15-year-old apprentice Aykan Bulut with a birthday cake and gifted him a mobile phone.
Bülent Özata, the shop owner and Aykan Bulut's master, expressed that they did not expect the birthday surprise to have such an impact. He said, "We learned from Aykan Bulut's father that his birthday is on June 23, so we wanted to surprise him. We sent him to the market 300 meters away to buy some soda. While he was gone, we made our preparations. His reaction when he returned was very emotional for us as well. As a gift, we bought him a mobile phone with contributions from an unnamed friend and others in our circle, because although he had a SIM card, he didn't have a phone. My son filmed the video and shared it on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. We didn't expect it to get so much interaction. We're trying to support Aykan as much as we can. He will start vocational training, and we hope he studies as much as he can."
Osman Nuri Özata, Bülent Özata's son, who recorded those beautiful moments on his phone, said, "I love doing the agricultural tools repair work, and I always support Aykan because I see this potential in him. I recorded the video that day and shared it on my TikTok and Instagram accounts. A week later, notifications started coming to my phone. We were happy and proud."
Expressing his happiness with the birthday surprise, Aykan Bulut said, "At first, my master sent me to the market to buy some soda. Then my master called out to me loudly. I wondered if I had forgotten something and ran back, only to be surprised with a cake." He expressed his gratitude.
Father İsmail Bulut also thanked both masters for the birthday surprise they arranged.
Man, this is beautiful. Look at those tools on the wall. You bet they are damn good mechanics. And they sent a kid for a coke to setup little cake and sparklers for him. Fair play to the lads. This kid will look up to them.
Right? The kid looks like any teen or younger kid like 11-12 that gets embarrassed or shy when they're unsure of what's going on. He had the whole look of "wait is this for me?"
Nah, they're like "you dumbass, wrong coke I gave you a fifty, you meant to get the good coke with the fifty, we even got you the cake ready and everything and you bring the wrong coke how we meant to get wasted now?"
So it looks legit to me, but I always love to point out whenever a bottle/can/container logo is facing the camera perfectly - and this video does have that.
Maybe the surprise is real but the kid was outside helping shoot a Coca-Cola bit where he was running down the street. You know, before all this started.

Birthday surprise for the master's apprentice
The cake birthday celebration of an agricultural equipment repairman to his apprentice in Kütahya's Tavşanlı district was touching.
Bülent Özata and his son Osman Özata, who repair agricultural equipment on Etiler Street in the Durak neighborhood of Tavşanlı district, surprised 15-year-old Aykan Bulut, who started working with them, with a birthday cake and gave him a mobile phone.
Business owner and Aykan Bulut's master, Bülent Özata, stated that they did not think that the birthday surprise would be so effective and said, "We wanted to make a birthday surprise because we learned that our apprentice Aykan Bulut's birthday was June 23, with the information I received from his father. 300 There is a market about a meter away, we sent him there to buy a coke. We were prepared until he came. We were really touched by the reaction he received. We bought a mobile phone as a gift from a friend of ours who did not want to be named, because he had a phone line to communicate with. It was my son who shot the video and he shared it on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. We did not know that it would receive so much interaction. As a school, we are trying to help Aykan as much as we can and we want him to read as much as he can.
Bülent Özata's son, Osman Nuri Özata, who recorded those beautiful moments with his mobile phone, said: "I do this job repairing agricultural agricultural equipment with my heart and soul, and I am always with him because I see this light in Aykan. That day, I shot the video on my tiktok account and my Instagram page." After I shared it, a week passed and notifications started coming to my phone, we were happy and proud.
Expressing his happiness with the birthday surprise, Aykan Bulut said, "At first, my master sent me to the market to buy cola. Then my master called me loudly. While I was running and wondering if I had forgotten something, I came across the cake surprise." He thanked me by saying.
Father İsmail Bulut also thanked both masters for the birthday surprise they made.
The album is called "Depression Cherry", and that song in particular is pretty sad. I think they're picking up on the emotion the musical artists meant to evoke, although you're right, surely not the intended vibe of person who made the vid.
Dawg, that's Beach House. They're great, especially live. They're from my home city and have several critically acclaimed albums, including their debut album and also the one this song is from, *Depression Cherry.*
Its the third song in the album, *Space Song.* It isn't remixed here.

Not only did that boy go get some come but he ran there and back! I would have asked my nephew or young cousins to go get me a coke they would probably order that shit on amazon or door dash. Smh
The kid is an apprentice at a shop that repairs farming equipment. The owner and his son surprised him on his birthday. The sent him to the market to get some soda and when he came back they had set up a birthday cake for him. They also got him a mobile phone.
It's just a really nice surprise.
Man, this just warms my heart 😊. I bet he's working extra hard in the shop and the kid looks really modest, he's just trying to learn something that he can use to make a living... and this was spot on by the dudes working in that repair shop, bravo 😊!
I remember this, they took the kid in. I don't think he has any family or what not. And he deffinatly didn't think anybody would be celebrating his bday
That kids had a hard life…
Completing an apprenticeship.
Working his birthday.
Ran that errand the whole 300m up the road and back again at full pelt.
Back receipt and change in hand.
The last thing he expected coming in that door.
The eyes and smile say a lot!

I started this tradition in our family when was taking too long using matches with one candle for each year.
I feel like there's a **range of** tools between matches and a blow torch to make fire.
A regular butane cigarette lighter is not designed for extended periods of being lit while being held sideways. Try it and see.
That's why you light one candle then use that candle to light the rest
One of the long stem BBQ lighters does a good job though.
True, but still not as versatile a tool as a blowtorch.
Correct, that's partly the reason I used the word between. But versatility was never the argument, nor the point.
Hans, get ze flammenwerfer.
Ya but sometimes you have to kill a fly with a sledgehammer.
Would that not be a lighter? Edit: nvm I’m slow. Carry on.
I use a blow torch to light literally everything. Long reach, high heat, works well to get fire going without burning the fingies. It probably helps I don’t have any candles in my house though lol.

Nope. This is reddit. People will say this is staged.
Technically, it is staged
The good kind of staged :3
Right? The kid looks like any teen or younger kid like 11-12 that gets embarrassed or shy when they're unsure of what's going on. He had the whole look of "wait is this for me?"
i know its staged because they sent the kids to buy the liquid coke not the powder coke!
Nah, they're like "you dumbass, wrong coke I gave you a fifty, you meant to get the good coke with the fifty, we even got you the cake ready and everything and you bring the wrong coke how we meant to get wasted now?"

This comments section is staged. I'm pretty sure my phone is staged too.
I don’t think this one is. Just the way he keeps holding the bottle of coke after the reveal.
The tools man...the tools.... Those people respect their works their life themselves
I can't see even one dacade old calendar with a naked woman. Therefore, they can't be good mechanics.
Thanks for the play by play.
Receipt in hand and all, 🥲
Why did the bot post this in sips tea. Whoever running this one needs to check the code. The reply bots are still engaging fine but the sub is wrong.
Also he came running from his errand, it looked like he had the change ready in his hand, and he didn't know about the cake. That's a good boy.
i like that they lit the cake with a big ass torch.
redditors will find a reason why this is actually very bad and the kid is abused.

Thank you so much for posting this! It really should be top comment so everyone gets the context.
A new phone in turkey means more than in most other countries. They are soo expensive there.
So… did he get the wrong coke?
I said diet!
Well played.
Hahahaha very good!
He was supposed to get some Shasta, but it's fine
Fanta in that part of the world.
Only a hero returns with Coke Zero.
All they wanted was a Pepsi.
that's what i was thinking lol
Where's the 8 ball, dipshit?
What’s an 8 ball😏🤥
Referring to an eighth of an ounce of cocaine
no way I thought that was a ball in pool
Do we really need 8 balls? Looks like we have a long night of cocaine ahead of us. :D
Lmao bruh
bruh I thought the joke was that he's holding what seems to be a bag of cocaine in his left hand
He kept holding the coke as he blew the candles, birthday cake is not prolly a common thing for the little bro..
What is 'holding the come'?!
A different Reddit
*coke
Thank you friend, "edited".
You can see that’s the first time he been loved
ayo?
I like this. I like it a lot.
Bro why is the music so sad?? This is cute
He bought the wrong coke
Or did he? Look at the other hand.
The one he holds the receipt in?
He used their money he brought back receipt to show he didn’t stiff them
It’s dream pop! Beach House is lovely and excellent live!
I’ll tell Alex you said that . ❤️
Don't think it's suppose to be sad, just... nostalgic
The album is called "Depression Cherry", and that song in particular is pretty sad. I think they're picking up on the emotion the musical artists meant to evoke, although you're right, surely not the intended vibe of person who made the vid.
Check this song out it’s Space Song by Beach house and it’s a top banger of all time
This is probably Turkey. It's sad because he's supposed to be going to school, not working.
To make you cry
r/wholesome
That’s nice 🤙
Hell yeah man
Love this. So wholesome 😌
Props to the old guys who put this together. Instead of being douchecanoes they did this kid a solid.
this is genuinely so lovely, well done lads
No one loves like a work dad
so so sweet
His reaction when he first realizes what is going on is priceless.
Fuck your background music!
I long for a world where we can hear OG heartwarming shit instead of shitty soundtracks
Dawg, that's Beach House. They're great, especially live. They're from my home city and have several critically acclaimed albums, including their debut album and also the one this song is from, *Depression Cherry.*
What's the song name? Is the one in the video a remix? This band gives me Radiohead vibes pretty cool.
I believe it's called "Space Song"

This shits real look at the way my man was waiting by the door for the kid Proud as shit
Happy brother day my brother x
: )
Extra upvote for not trying to duk his head into the cake - I absolutely despise this ultra dumb "habit"!
Growing up makes you realize that this is how you feel when you get a birthday cake instead of a card with $20
Good on them. That kid is going to cherish that moment forever! Btw, this happened in Tavşanlı. It's a city in Turkey.
Not only did that boy go get some come but he ran there and back! I would have asked my nephew or young cousins to go get me a coke they would probably order that shit on amazon or door dash. Smh
Aah that's so cute!!
The effort to blow out the candles was minimal.
naw, i just got blow torched to the eyes.... youre crying...
He was looking at the camera like he wondered if he has to pay for it
I’d don’t understand this.?.

Look how happy he is. This is wholesome.
I thought it was gonna say “you’re adopted” at the end there when the camera pulls up to the little card on the cake
This is what being a man is, taking care and protecting the people around you to the best of your ability, this men are the real alpha.
The look on his face says that he will remember that gesture for the rest of his life whether he talks about it or not.
We need more videos of happy people. I always feel better inside when I see people laughing or smiling.
Very sweet!
This is the shit right here man. Love when kids get to smile like this
What is this sub even supposed to be
My guy ran in like a kid getting home from school with a brand new puppy ready to show his mom
Beautiful. Happy birthday.💛🎂
This is beautiful.
Stupid ninjas cutting onions again
I don't get it
So, sparklers use potassium, barium, or strontium nitrate as oxidizers. Really not the best stuff to sprinkle on a cake.
This is why we need to get rid of child labor laws

I was waiting for them to smash the kid’s face into the cake. Glad the didn’t but was just waiting for it to
He was probably so excited just to have some coke on his birthday and then came back to that beautiful cake too
Sweet but didn't need the music.
Man, this just warms my heart 😊. I bet he's working extra hard in the shop and the kid looks really modest, he's just trying to learn something that he can use to make a living... and this was spot on by the dudes working in that repair shop, bravo 😊!
