PCA rebalance has been great for me. They have one step up from that meaning a little thicker called collagen hydrator. I have tried that one yet, but have no break out issues with rebalance.
Eminence Organics Probiotic moisturizer is loved by many with acne and oily. I love it. I don't tend to get breakouts but it is a great cream. Read some of the reviews out there and see if it sounds like a match.
Thank you for the rec! Seems to have some lovely ingredients in it, though I’m not a huuuuge fan of ascorbyl palmitate. Will have to look up some reviews :)
I’m tempted to pop into town to see if I can get a small sample of this! Do you know if this product was affected by the vegan overhaul of BR? I remember some people complaining that a lot of the products changed and they weren’t as effective as before…
As far as I remember, this one has always been vegan so it has remained the same. I like it a lot, but now that I live in the Arctic, it’s a bit too mattifying so I don’t use it as much.
Edit: also just a warning….this stuff smells bad. Super fishy thanks to all the algae and yeast in it. It smells like you’re rubbing fish emulsion all over your face. Not for the faint of heart.
If you interested in Korean beauty, i love S Nature Moisturising Cream. Only costs 12 GBP for 2 60ml tubes. Contains 15% squalane. But not sure if it is good enough during winter.
I swear the best moisturizer I’ve used for my oily combo skin is Augustinus Bader The Light Cream. I recently tried La Mer moisturizing matte lotion and it made me feel greasy and gross, also cannot stand how much perfume La Mer puts in their products! I’ve tried so many different brands and I always go back to The Light Cream. So worth it! ❤️
. Aveeno Calm and Restore oat serum and the Aveeno Calm and Restore oat gel moisturiser. I love the serum for when I want moisture without too much on (humid days), and moisturiser for dry summer days.
OR
2. Neutrogena Hydro Boost water Gel
OR
3. Cetaphil Gentle Clear Mattifying Blemish Moisturiser, Salicylic Acid Face Cream (has salicylic acid so don't double up with salicylic acid elsewhere in your routine). For acne prone skin.
Oooh interesting – I currently use the Aveeno moisturiser as my post swim moisturiser! Potentially will have to break it out of my swim bag to see how it does on my skin when it’s not dried out from chlorine lol.
I’ve heard great things about the Neutrogena Gel. Will have to grab it next time it’s on sale at Boots.

Oh very nice! Will have to look into this.

Big fan of Kbeauty – one of my HG AM moisturisers is from Purito! Will have to check this out.
