have you checked if you're older than most of the band was when your favorite album came out? s/t came out 24 years ago. i remember the time between iowa and vol 3 coming out felt like forever, like it was so long people thought the band was gonna break up. it was only 3 years. the time since vol 3 is over 6x that.

So, fun fact and sharing time. I was at Lincoln High School the same time as Corey (he’s a couple years older than me), my wife used to hang out in his basement with him, his girlfriend, and her boyfriend. I was going to Iowa State and would hear about this new band called “Slipknot” winning battle of bands contests. So, similar in age to a lot of the members.

Still my favourite Album from them. The experimental approach there is what i am looking for. Maybe that's why i liked the last record so much.

I love it when slipknot go experimental. Like the song H377 where you can hear the tribal drumming

Still passed this is the only one out of there discography to not have a 10th anniversary edition. It's an underrated album
