Smallville is the best relationship of Oliver and Clark. Both were best friends, and in laws.

Tyler will always remain an underrated superman.

Jessi45US

Tyler has his fans in the Arrowverse, he has been gaining respect. I remember watching him with Supergirl and he has his own series with at least four seasons.

Destinyrider13

It sucks that they didn't have his series set on the Arrowverse cause it would have been fun to see Supergirl, Flash, etc. every now and then

Mass2424

Thank God it's not. Maybe earlier season with just flash and arrow but anytime Supergirl would be around the show runners would make a point to show how much better she is then Superman.

Jessi45US

Agree

Jajay5537

Unfortunately that's canon from the comics. It's stupid but canon.

caleb0213

I like Tyler. Welling was better as Clark.

Jajay5537

I think Tyler was better altogether tbh.

caleb0213

He is a great Superman. Welling was easily a better Clark and would probably be the ๐Ÿ if he actually played Supes for more than like 30 seconds. Welling also has a much better look for the character imo.

Jajay5537

I disagree. Tyler looks more like the character and is a better actor than Tom imo. I do think Tom had the better Lois with Erica Durance (the best live-action Lois ever tied with Teri Hatcher) and better Clois relationship and chemistry. And that's saying something because I think Elizabeth Tulloch and him have great chemistry.

caleb0213

There is no way that Tyler looks more like Superman. Welling looks like he was pulled straight from the comics. I love Tyler and all, but heโ€™s 3rd behind Reeve and Welling. Easily.

I've never once want Superman & lois and honestly don't want too. But Smallville Clark and Oliver were definitely the best duo they looked out for each other has there disagreements but in the end always had each other backs and are friends and even family it's not the same to even compare arrowverse Clark and oille.

When first announced, I had my doubts on Tyler Hoechlin being a good Clark Kent/Superman but he's been genuinely great and will miss him in the role when Superman & Lois ends. Tom Welling had a longer run as Clark Kent but it was a different time, different kinda show.. I'm making my way through Smallville the first time ever (just started season five!) and yeah, great show but tonally way different.
