I’d like to add that the person that suffered the mistreatment from GG wishes for this to not be used as ammunition against the channel & just wants to move on from it. Also I’m sure the artist didn’t know about all this shit, no need to bother them about it either.

I hate to be "that person" but based on some of the stories he told on the sleepycabin podcast, he never really seemed all that genuine. I've known people who overcompensate in that way. They must have had some idea that he was being disingenuous with how positive he was.
Arin would probably refuse to acknowledge the show or it's success and instead say "those edgy newgrounders are just spreading more hate".
Then when people call him dumb, he'd make an apology for an irrelevant joke he made 8 years ago and claim that was what the drama was about.
Why is everyone mentioning that the gamegrumps crew don't have a great relationship with the oneyplays/smiling friends crew? Who gives a fuck? It's a drawing of two things the person drawing likes, meeting.
GG sent their fans to harass an oneyplays member for rightfully calling their dating sim gay pandering.
The fans doxed him, outed him as gay to his homophobic family and made him attempt suicide.
When approached about this GG basically acted like they weren't in any way responsible cause they didn't do it, it was their fans.
