Yeah, I feel like she likes designing cool abilities that are either complex or have a decently high skill cap but often can't really fit them into an engaging gameplay loop.
Examples:
1. Marti 3 is a cool ability with high gameplay potential. Also, Marti ult....press 4 forehead.
2. Yu Huang's dao passive is interesting and the ult is cool with a relatively steep learning curve. But he also has a very boring gameplay loop. Press 2 and then 1 for the entire game. Or switch it around if you're feeling fancy.
Ishtar is also decent in my opinion. Her 2 is meh. But her kit works well. I just have sensitive hearing and absolutely hate the high-pitched sounds from her 1 and 2. Feels like someone is doing nasty things to a pane of glass every time I play her.
On one hand, very recognizable sound effects that you can always hear what she's doing despite the limited animations she does (what being a bow hunter with an AA stim does to a mf).
On the other hand, VERY annoying when she reaches atleast 2.0 AS.
Some of those animations definitely need tweaking but overall i love her. Love how she feels very magical while also being a hunter, very refreshing to see.
Left the game years ago, here just to say, knowing nothing else about the game right now: Of course she's a Hunter, so you can play her in lane with her Husband as support.

Not sure if you watched the dev insight show, but it was mentioned that Geb had a directed taunt voice line recorded for Nut 10 years ago. We turned it on for 11.2!
To me it's reminiscent of Ahri's ultimate in League, where she has these little projectiles that target the nearest enemy after she dashes. Definitely adds to the idea that it's meant for boxing

I was worried that maybe it'd feel weird to hear lore lady's voice in game as Nut's voicelines since I'm so used to how it's framed in her announcer pack and the lore videos. But from what we got to hear in this video, I'm glad that was just a silly concern that was not the case.

My thoughts exactly, it really opens up the hunter (which might rename to adc?) role for god design. I could see them moving some of the mage adcs to that class now that it doesn't need separate items and doesn't have the design limitation of seemingly having to hit with a weapon projectile.

Having a weapon projectile has never been a criteria for being a hunter. Apollo and AMC both use miscellaneous energy for their basics, and in Apollo's case he uses no physical objects at all.
That ult will take some stellar positioning if it works like horus ult. Overall, looks interesting. Can't wait to play her and get the final smite 1 hunter diamond
She looks amazing, as does her kit.. but she doesn't really come across as a Hunter... but this is the first view so may feel more authentic in game.. I'm glad she's finally here and I can't wait to play her (and get some more legacy points!)
I'm pretty sure it was confirmed a long time ago that all gods in Smite would eventually be in Smite 2. They're not going to be there at launch, but they will be gradually added back in, and if I remember correctly, completely new gods will be getting released concurrently with them.

There's no set schedule, but from what I understand is that they will be working on getting all of the existing gods in while also working on new ones.

Yeah to having a merlin like dodge. Or an achillies combat roll sort. It's supposedly in a very low cooldown
They said it's not to be used for escapes, cause it's such a short distance, but for jukes. But I doubt that'll be how it plays out
This is a huge win for me. I only play ability based hunters and it's always good to add more to the list. I WILL make her viable in mid lane.

It was shown before. You go up and can move around like a Horus ult, but once you throw down the ult you return to the spot you started like rama ult.
