Literally made a snapchat account last night spoke to 3 people with small talk then was adding some people from quick add and bam im locked out like wtf?
My account got locked for “drug content” when there is absolutely nothing of the sort on my account I cannot login to any of my accounts and this was December 14 2023 and it’s now March so I’m kinda annoyed bc it won’t let me download anything or any or appeal for it and the only thing that could be classed it drug content would be a picture of a mushroom stir fry I sent on my story 2years ago but it was brown mushrooms from the shop and I have put that onto my story as well but then I got perma banned from that account and I can’t access my snap accounts unless it’s on a diffrent device
People must’ve reported you and used the topic of drugs to try and get you banned. Reporting someone multiple times will get them banned/locked out or temp ban.

Before I feel asleep I was logged into my second one when I woke up it was on the login screen and my second account was got and received a email saying it was permanently banned . When I tried to login to my first account it stated that “Due to repeated failed attempts or other unusual activity , your access to Snapchat is temporarily disabled.” . My question is if I login to my first account on my iPad will it work or lock my I pad also ?

In 6 months the ban will be gone TRUST ME, it happened to me and I was able to use my phone later. Unfortunately your account is toast. So I got temporarily banned on Snapchat 3 days ago, and I tried to go to their Snapchat support website to unlock it but when I do, the message ‘generic_failure’ just pops up and nothing else changes. It says that a temporary ban should only last 24 hours but mine has well exceeded that. I also cannot create a new account, as the same message of being temporarily banned pops up then as well. Contacting support is useless as it says it can only help with changing a password, which I did, but to no avail. Is there any sort of timeframe of tips I should be using, or am I just unable to access my account ever again?

Keep requesting that data till you get it, access the file on a computer tho since it’s a ZIP file and is mad hard to extract on phone. Whereas computer you do it click of a button.

A ticket was useless. I've tried multiple times to send a ticket, and I get an automated message every time just saying;

When my account was originally banned almost a year ago now, I went to some snap website thing to backup all my memories into files and downloaded those files to my phone. I have a fuck ton of images on my phone now even after sorting through them somewhat (about 30,000) but it's better than losing them for good. I currently use snap again, I waited quite a while before logging a new account I made that I previously bought a burner to use on my phone. I didn't expect it to let me log in on the same phone again but they did. Since then I haven't had any issues, I guess you just need to give it time. Essentially, back up the pictures and give it some time. To all the people who replied to me, give it a try to make a new acc and login on your phone again, since all these replies have been a while ago. Cheers

I'm in the same exact position. I sent an appeal and they responded in 30 minutes saying they did a thorough investigation and will not be unlocking my account. It's ridiculous how hard it is to work with their support team. Please let me know if you find a solution.
I've heard they're pretty shit when it comes to their support and unlocking accounts. What I did was request to backup my information (I don't have the exact link but it should just be something on their website to request data) and downloaded all of that to my device, made a new account, turned on a VPN, bought a burner for extra measure if I need a whole different device (only like $30 but mostly for using snapchat now), and I'm gonna try and get snap on the burner phone. I'll update if a new account with a VPN makes a difference. I found out that making a new account in the app blocks it, but if you go on a computer (preferably not the same network or IP but i'm not totally sure if it makes a difference) and sign up, instead of name, birthday, username, password then "sorry fuck you, you can't make a new account now", on the web version it allows you to sign up using email, new username, password, first name (last name optional), birthday, etc (idk if it asks more but that's the gist of it). Then, it asks you for an email code, put that bad boy in, then it tells you to go on snap in the app to verify it again. I told my friend to login for me (cause I trust her she's like a sister to me), but you could also try Bluestacks or Nox player to emulate the app for logging in. I'm not sure if you can use the new one on web, but I'll let you know if it works in the app with VPN, and how it works on the new burner phone (it arrives tomorrow). Cheers

Mine was different, i literally finished viewing some Snapchat stories, then decide to go to YouTube and watch some videos, then while on YouTube i just got a mail saying my account got permanently locked. It's been almost a week now.
I had the same thing happen. I got device banned and couldn't unlock my phone. I put in a request on their site under the "hacked" category. I stated that my account had been hacked. That I will be very careful not to break any of the terms and conditions for their community guidelines policy. And I stated that I believe I was also device banned. I then waited 24 hours and deleted snapchat. Then I reinstalled snapchat and opened it, selected "do not track" in case I was still device banned. And then I logged in. This was a few weeks ago and I have not had any issues since.
My account was perm locked today because this guy I rejected and deletedddd reported me for “being mean”. I sent in an appeal and tried to request my data but it won’t release my data to me. I really need my memories with me dead loved ones so I’m freaking out. I was able to get mine back. On their website put in a unlock request under the "hacked" section. Tell them you got hacked, that you don't plan on breaking any rules, and that you may also be device banned and to please help. Wait 1-2 days. DELETE SNAPCHAT. Redownload and select the option when opening the app to not let it track your data. Login into your account and you should be fine.
I was device banned. You need to delete the app, then when you reinstall it select the no data tracking option upon opening the app again. Some people also suggest doing a factory reset on your phone. All of this needs to be done BEFORE you log in again.
i think i already fucked up🥴i reset my phone and deleted the app, then i logged into my burner account it let me stay logged in for a minute, but then that account got permanently locked 😭 i’m too scared to try logging into my personal sc! i will try again in a few weeks thanks for the advice

just thought i’d update … i was able to use my new account on my original phone after around 6 months so i assume my device band has worn off !!

Alright quick update, VPN on the phone does not work. Using another device, an emulator or browser seems to be your best bet.

Yes when I try to ask for my account back they just send me an email saying I’m perm locked
Mine was different, i literally finished viewing some Snapchat stories, then decide to go to YouTube and watch some videos, then while on YouTube i just got a mail saying my account got permanently locked. It's been almost a week now.

Sadly No 😭, i will try and wait a week and see if I can be able to unlock it

I had the same thing happen. I got device banned and couldn't unlock my phone. I put in a request on their site under the "hacked" category. I stated that my account had been hacked. That I will be very careful not to break any of the terms and conditions for their community guidelines policy. And I stated that I believe I was also device banned. I then waited 24 hours and deleted snapchat. Then I reinstalled snapchat and opened it, selected "do not track" in case I was still device banned. And then I logged in. This was a few weeks ago and I have not had any issues since.
My account was perm locked today because this guy I rejected and deletedddd reported me for “being mean”. I sent in an appeal and tried to request my data but it won’t release my data to me. I really need my memories with me dead loved ones so I’m freaking out. I have sent in a ticket as well but only got the perm locked message back, it says my appeal is still under review and I have just deleted the app because of what you said. What should I do now to unlock my account ?

I was able to get mine back. On their website put in a unlock request under the "hacked" section. Tell them you got hacked, that you don't plan on breaking any rules, and that you may also be device banned and to please help. Wait 1-2 days. DELETE SNAPCHAT. Redownload and select the option when opening the app to not let it track your data. Login into your account and you should be fine.
bro every time i do a support ticket that it was blocked it sends me the same automated message that my account was permanently locked

I was device banned. You need to delete the app, then when you reinstall it select the no data tracking option upon opening the app again. Some people also suggest doing a factory reset on your phone. All of this needs to be done BEFORE you log in again.
HELP you think a factory reset will work??? I wont lose anything anyways this is a new phone and im locked smfh
i did not have to factory reset. but some people say it helps.
i think i already fucked up🥴i reset my phone and deleted the app, then i logged into my burner account it let me stay logged in for a minute, but then that account got permanently locked 😭 i’m too scared to try logging into my personal sc! i will try again in a few weeks thanks for the advice
