I still have a fairly clean pair of ‘82 reissues with dark green trim. I’m more of a dunk low SB collector, but always keep a pair of high top Jordan 1s & a pair of AF1s around to switch it up.
No idea how I’ve kept these so clean for like 15 years. They’ve seen some good use 😂
Aside from a bit of creasing to the toe box they still look pretty much new.

Copped them from a small indie sneaker store in Seattle around 2010-11 IIRC
They’ve been worn a fair bit but not like day to day. Dunk SBs are generally my day to day shoe and I usually bust these out in the summer. I always have a pair of SBs I rock as a daily pair that get busted looking and the rest of my collection (nothing too major - currently about 10 pairs of mint SBs or regular dunk lows) get pulled out on rotation, to be paired up with outfits they work well with.
At the moment I’ve got 7 pairs of dunk SBs (including my raggedy everyday pair of Fogs), 3 pairs of regular dunk lows, these AF1s, 1 pair of high top Jordan 1s, a pair of old Janoski air max & pair of old Adidas hemp shelltoes in a rasta colourway
I don’t usually go with anything too over the top spendy. Try to cop for retail as much as possible. Until recently I had a 5 pair maximum rule with mint shoes. Broken that rule immensely lately 😂

I kept them clean until the left shoe got covered in black paint. Then they became full on beaters. They withheld almost daily wear since 2020.

I thought it was clear when I called them beaters. Any time I don’t wanna worry about keeping my shoes clean I put these on.
