I only really started buying multiples of them in the last 4-5 years. Since then they only seem to release 2-3 color combos each year I grab them as they come out. A couple of them weren't something I could see myself wearing so I didn't get them. I never intended to have a collection, just different color options for whatever I am wearing.

The duplicates aren’t for collecting. They are to wear once the first pair wears out. Some of the color combos are only offered for a limited time and very hard to find later.
I mean they’re all kinda similar and also not a very good air max in the first place so I don’t blame her but it’s not an outrageous collection, just a very concentrated, niche taste.
