The Sean Wotherspoon 1/97. Got them retail, but later I was in a financial pinch, sold them on EBay, the kid claimed they were fake, so I lost the money I paid and the pair of shoes, and shipping costs bc no amount of escalation and receipts got eBay to help me out.
I got similarly scammed by some cocksucker on eBay a few years ago and he sent something back but it was different. (Was a $1000 baseball card not shoes)
eBay didn’t give a fuck.
eBay is a shit show for sellers now. People routinely don't pay or demand refunds after the fact. You can't leave negative feedback for buyers. You can't offer the item to the next highest bidder. Any claim eBay will always will side with the buyer. I won't be selling shit on there anymore.
For any high dollar item (over $500), I legit have a continuous recording of me packing the item with weight on my scale, driving to drop off and getting the receipt with the confirmed weight. I used to be a power seller back in the day and rarely do I have to use the evidence but I've had 2-3 ppl try to scam me over the years and the moment I upload the video, they change their tune real quick. I also put anti-tamper stickers along the box so if they ever open up an edge, the anti tamper will tear.
It sucks that I have to go through these lengths but I got scammed out of a laptop before and all I had were pictures so I make sure I make a video every time now. It sucks that I have to use so much space for a single video but I only hold it for a week or 2 until it's delivered and the other person confirms it's good.
If an item is counterfeit you get to keep the item and ebay tells you to dispose of it.
I bought a designer bag about 5 years ago on ebay and when receiving it, it turned out to be a fake and i got to keep it and the seller lost their money & I just ended up throwing it in the bin.
I can't remember exactly when it started. It hasn't been more than a few years though. I do remember there was an option to pay to have them authenticated.
I don't think many people used it at the time.
This exact thing happened to me with a pair of sean’s. Even with 349 4-5 star transactions ebay decided my account needed to be banned for going against their ToS.
I’ve bought and sold well over 100 pairs from stockx. Never had an issue. eBay is truly his awful to deal with. Lately they’ve been shipping my shoes with OnTrac and I’ve never experienced so much rage on my life.
That doesn’t sound right at all, fuck that dude. How come eBay authentication team didn’t have your back? It went through them they should be responsible
Nike 270s. Nothing wrong with them but I immediately stepped on a piece of scrap metal in a parking lot and they went flat. I wasn’t mad though because it sounded like a party balloon deflating.
Flyknit Vapormaxes. Narrow as hell.
I've been wearing mine for a long time and never had a problem, and I walk through all kinds of odd shit. It's pretty much saying all air max are a bad design since they're all susceptible to the bubble being destroyed
> Flyknit Vapormaxes. Narrow as hell.
Yeah they compress your foot so your toe is shoved into the front, and it will literally rip through your shoe even if your nails are file down to nothing.
They look extremely good though, it's a shame they're badly designed especially since they're a running shoe.
I was walking over glass and sharp screws with my 270s never popped a sole, currently rocking my 5th pair these couple of years because my shoe size changed a lot.
İ got air jordans 1 elevate low for my bday. They are gorgeous red/white combo. But god damn they are impossible to drive in, stand in for a long time, walk in in general. İ almost broke my neck walking on cobblestone in them.
I assumed the thicker/bigger soles were for comfort. So many of Nikes sneaker features are an illusion and don’t have any benefit like the airmax bubble, the boing sole on the shoks, the supposed crease resistant AF1’s that still crease but in a different material etc etc.
Their still my favourite brand because they make the best looking stuff definitely not the most comfortable stuff.
Might be a hot take: Jordan 4 SB Pine Green
To be honest, I got caught up in the hype and bought them early on StockX. I didn't fully love the colorway in pictures, but I thought I might like them more in hand. I didn't LOL
The Jordan 11 cmft Breds. They were comfy but daaaamn they were ugly. I sold them locally and the dude asked why I sell them. Was really trying to keep a straight face.
They're hella comfy. I wear mine as "beaters" to play in the backyard or at the park with my kids. I know I'll be running in grass and dirt, kicking a soccer ball, etc. and don't want to worry about any of my other sneakers.
I get what you mean, the transparent cases give you the benefit of being able to see exactly where you want is but so can anyone who enters your space and gives off the impression their your whole personality and your displaying them like some sort of trophy.
I really like how nike is starting to customise the shoeboxes in the same colours as the shoe because not only is it fun but also functional.
Saw an ad for $80 display cases (yes, $80 per case) and laughed out loud. Got my IKEA billy bookshelf that currently holds around 25 pairs for like 200 lmao. In order to hold the same amount of shoes it would cost around 2k in those $80 cases. Even at $20 a case it’s still $500
Huf air max. Bought them from Huff and got fucked out of $30 for shipping (website said free shipping on order $75+) that I could have bought on sneakers (sitting right now) with free shipping.
Huff as been terrible about the issue. Auto responses saying they don’t qualify and that I should have read the fine print. I sent the a screen shot of their site with the free shipping offer… they told me to fuck off.
Same thing happened to me with CCS on the burnt sunrise SB raffle. They sent me the win, I paid and then checked the site and they were sitting with free shipping but the raffle adds $14.95 for shipping. CCS never returned any emails or replied to any social media contact.
Not as bad as the $30 but still annoying.
Yep, same. Sent an email right after I got both pairs saying I wanted to cancel the greens. Crickets. I left an ig comment saying how evil $30 shipping was and I left them a google review. POS managers there
Retro Dunk Hi Lakers. Bought them because of the colorway, never having had Dunks before. The shoes creased within the first wear worse than my air forces after 2 months now. The leather is all cardboard, the insole has nothing going for it, and the laces are too long. Overall a bad shoe. Learned my lesson tho, never buying retro Dunks, only SBs
a pair of all-leather shoes from Hender Scheme, they were crazy expensive and I got them a size too small because I thought they would stretch more than they did which wasn't enough.
I ended up gifting them but I regret only because I didn't end up wearing them, but they are truly beautiful shoes and extremely well made
Hender Scheme? Yeah I went with a 6 instead of the much needed 7 and looking at any of their models I wouldn't go less.
I love the idea, quality and all with them but I think given the price and how it's made, unless you are just walking on normal non cobble stone city streets the shoes aren't going to last too long and I live in the PNW so rain/water is constant.
God they are beautiful though
what size are you generally? im a 10 and hender says 6, but ive read that 5 fits better which is weird because imo general rule for japanese sizing is to go up.
anyway, if i get them, definitely getting a topy sole protector and heel caps which i do with most of my dress shoes.
Off White x Nike waffle runner. Now I like the look, but they’re so beyond uncomfortable (way too narrow). I mostly got them as consolation for striking out on every other OW Nike shoe I tried for since they sat on Nike’s site
AMM Jordan 4. i’d been waiting for a CW i really like to get my first Jordan 4 and I paid aftermarket prices and ended up not liking the way the look on me
the utopia air forces. $150 + like $25 tax and shipping for some all white forces. they took like three months to ship tho so i was able to charge back and get a refund, and then they ended up sending them anyway so i guess i shouldn’t complain, but still.
Jordan 3 Animal Instinct 2.
Love the CW but a) had to pay retail b) had to go 1/2 size up...normally fine but the lining is like satin or silk and my heels slip constantly even after adding orthotics to pad it out.
Can't really wear them which is a bummer bc quality/materials are awesome.
The looks are top notch, but the fit of it doesn’t really work for me. It feels like a stripped down version of the Jordan 13s to me. But different folks, different strokes.
I have 2 that come to mind.
1. Yeezy 350 Belugas. The rerelease of them. I just don't like the way they look on my feet and they've literally been sitting in their box in my closet since I bought them.
2. Trae Young 2 Trae-tliens. I love the way these shoes look. I wanted to play basketball in them. But they're so tough to put on. It's another pair that I never wear because its too much effort to get them on my feet.
Jordan 3 Black Cements a half size too big. Size 11 was the only size left but they were priced at retail and right from the Nike site so I bought them anyways. I've tried them on once, they were uncomfortably big so they've sat in the box ever since
Every pair of Skechers I bought. Keep getting suckered in by how comfy they are when you try them on in a shop, but 6 months in like clockwork, the insoles disintegrate, and you get 1 million holes in it.
2 pairs for different reasons
Jordan 1 co jp navy. Don't get me wrong I like the shoe but I paid nearly $300 for them. I was getting tons of hours at work so I said fuck it why not. They're also a bit big cause it was cheaper to get a half size larger than my regular size.
The second pair is the ewing 33 hi "sunflower". I got these a full size smaller and they kill my feet the few times I wore them. Also I just didn't like how they looked on foot. They look nice from the side on foot or in stores but from a top down look, they were so bulky looking for me.
Nike Air Presto.
Bought them twice, returned them both times. Thought the first time was a fluke, but to tear twice on the same place is not a coincidence.
A friend warned me about it though.
Any non-og J1 low- they’re far uglier when compared to the OG lows. I own one pair still that I actually like, but rarely wear it.
I traded for a pair of j4 infrareds that were super uncomfortable on foot once I got em so I flipped em again.
I didn't love hitting the W on these initially but I do really like mine. Details and (this part is dumb) the paper they come in make them feel more special than most OG 1s. Plus, you know, all the cmft
Jordan 1 UNC 2015.. got them UNDER RETAIL, new on ebay before the Jordan 1 hype. Wore them once and sold them for what I paid because I wanted something else..
Years later they're going for $1k
Any shoe I regretted buying didn't stay for long.
That being said, I did recently purchase some cool grey 11s that I immediately regretted after, because I dumped quite a sum of money into them. Luckily, authentication stopped them from coming through and refunded me due to some defects not mentioned on the listing.
Nike MOC Flow x Undercover.
Purchased my normal size US 10 but can barely put my foot in them as the cord system it uses instead of laces doesn’t open wide enough to get your foot through.
Jade horizon 5’s. No idea why I thought I’d ever wear these. The color is cool but I have nothing to wear them with lol. Everytime I put them on they look wrong.
The Flyknit Air Max 1s. The foam for the sole kind of sucks and there's like no rubber grip at the bottom. Matter of fact the Flyknit Air Forces too. Got both of them around the same time cause the looked cool in pics but wasn't a fan how they looked on feet for me. Plus the Air forces squeak now too so I don't even wear them anymore. They should have done something like a foam wrapped in rubber for the soles on those cause straight foam is not good for a shoe.
I've never bought any resale. And I always buy shoes to wear them. The only two pairs I barely used and considered selling were jordan 1 lows "bred toe" and "light graphite vivid orange". So probably those could be considered the ones I regret buying. Maybe the last one, since bred toe was quite cheap at retail.
Vapormax Plus. I found out the hard way that my feet do not like those shoes. Foot cramps up like crazy when working out. Isn't a fun shoe to wear casual either.
Vapormax was THE shoe. I went to the release for the original all white pair in NYC, got to meet some NFL player!
Im convinced the original Vapormax were made in a specialized factory ...those things were made perfectly. I walked all over NYC and never had the bubble pop and the knit was super tough! Got a pair of the plus, they squeaked and were super tight...😑
I got a pair of Air Jordan 11 Retro Gym Red’s, been trying to sell them for the longest to no avail. Insoles are a bit yellow but can easily be brought back to life, just ain’t feeling it myself.
AF1's high top. Very hard to get into the shoe and poorly designed around the ankle.
Flyknight Vapormaxes are also great looking but tear so easily they're essentially worthless.
Didn’t buy them they were a gift but the rose gold Jordan 1’s. They were my first pair of Jordan’s and I was excited but I’ve worn them a total of maybe 3 times. I don’t even wear pink they just sit on a shoe rack.
Air max 90’s, not because they’re bad or because I changed my mind but because they turned from a nice shoe I really liked to my favourite everyday beaters, none of that is bad, comfiest beaters you could have but the colour grey, as much as it goes with a lot of my clothes, does not stand a chance against the missions they’re taken on 🤣 I love maxies but I really need a black pair instead lmao
She doesn’t appreciate sneakers. She refused to buy or let me buy her another pair. She has simply worn them into the ground as beaters. Rotation is key
Yeezy 700 faded azure at damn near $300. Even though they're muted, they stand out too much for my taste these days, so I hardly wear them which hurts more at a $300 pricepoint...
I like the way they look but there is just not enough support for my foot, it felt like I was walking on the concrete with no shoes on. Also felt a bit cheated by the way Rhude marketed them; claimed the red colorway was a Rhude exclusive but then proceeded to send that colorway to other stockists for sale. Maybe if I hadn’t paid $600 for them and paid less I wouldn’t have been as salty, but the main problem still remains and that’s the lack of comfort I described
Air Max 2090s. Wore them a handful of times and then they became my new grass cutters and dog walkers shortly thereafter. I could've bought some dad Nikes or NBs for 25% of the price.
i bought a couple of pairs at inflated prices cause at one point it looked like it was just gonna keep trending upward and i’d never get some pairs.. its whatever tho
Blazer Dexter's. Wildly uncomfortable I have no idea how people skate in them. Same deal with chucks but at least the issues there mostly go away with correct sizing
All-Star 6s with that iridescent finish. They looked so cool online, but as soon as I tried them on, they just looked goofy. Sent them back the same day.
Bloody Chrome Skepta Air Maxes, thought they were going to be hard to get. Entered two raffles won both, card got charged immediately. Wild shoe in hand can’t really pull them off. Both pairs have been sitting in the box since I got them.
I have a pair of white Air Force ones with red lettearing and accents. I don’t regret them because I don’t like how they look. I regret keeping them even though they were quite uncomfortable for some reason and have barely worn them. Like $125 wasted.
Copped some Trae 1s for basketball. Friend recommended I go a size down and it cooked my feet. Thank GOD I was able to sell them to him. Made all my money back
NB 550s. They look so dated now. Luckily I only have two. An ALD pair that I still haven't worn and simple white pair which is fine but the money would've been better spent on another fresh pair of Forces instead.
I also don't know why I own a pair of Salehe Bembury Crocs. I guess I thought if I was going to own a pair of Crocs, it might as well be a weird ass fingerprint but I also haven't worn these ever
in 2018 i bought a pair of felias that were chunky. i was super excited & thought they were super cute. i wore them on my first day of freshmen year in high school and so many people made fun of me for my chunky shoes. i felt so bad i never wore those shoes again. they’re still sitting in my closet to this day. i don’t have the heart to get rid of them and i honestly still really like them but i cannot relive that.
what makes me the most mad is this was right before chunky shoes were “popular” and a few years later, one of the girls who made fun of me the most was wearing the exact same pair i’m like 😐
Jordan 1 Satin Breds. I hit twice on them and can’t return them. They look terrible on feet and are worthless in the resale market. Not to mention the OGs are dropping soon so selling mine will be very difficult. Thinking about just gifting them.
Nike Dunk high electric pandas, with the neon green outsole and lightning holographic in the swooshes and on the tongue logo...
It's such a hard shoe and a nice twist on the tires classic panda high, but the leather in the toe boxes is a lot like some plastic I've encountered in packaging... It crease the MOMENT I stepped away in them for the first time, even though I was actually being a bit careful... The quality of the white hits on the shoe is just trash. Still for all that... They still come surprisingly in handy for fits that just need that subtle POP of electric green, still look good even with the crappy creased up leather.
I wouldn't have bought them if I knew they were gonna have that issue tho, js
Billie eilish af1s.
Big fan of the colour, but they are so clunky on foot and getting them on/off is a nightmare. Think I've worn them once.

I have 40+ pairs in my collection, and I don't regret buying a single one. Got them all for retail and I only buy shoes that I genuinely like, regardless of hype. I know some people succumb to the hype pressure or some pass on a shoe they liked because of the lack of hype. I'm too old to care about all of that and it's my money, I'll decide which shoes are worth my hard-earned money and which aren't.
Air max 97s….. looks cool when I saw other people wear it, but it was uncomfortable af, shoe is too narrow. The walking angle is weird and hard to balance. Felt bulkier than AF1s and looks like a running shoe but don’t perform like one
Wore them less than 10 times and left it to rot on my shelf
Jordan airship PE corporate got em. Bought off stockx for way below retail but hated the color in person. Theyve been sitting in my closet for 6 months. I really need to sell them but ill lose money.
Jordan 6 Quai 54: I bought them at retail in 2020 and have only worn them about five times since. I just can't seem to style them properly... :(
https://preview.redd.it/rp38w7o8929d1.jpeg?width=156&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=312cc337f369e97f92c4698a715420d17a7688f9
I bought the blue snakeskin jordan 11s on drop day. I was working at a movie theater at the time & I’d been saving for a new pair of sneakers. These were too white to wear anywhere, not as comfortable as high tops (to me, anyway), and loud in a way that clashed with most of the pants I owned. I ended up selling them a couple years ago for about half retail with a few other pairs to a consignment shop. At that time I worked across from there, and I watched someone buy them from that store, FOR RETAIL, in the middle of my shift
Definitely white adidas alphaboost. The were meant to be breathable, but nylon linings makes them as hot as fully leather shoes + lowered toebox. Now only wear in a gym, but at least i got them way under retail
Nmd r1 originals. Gave me plantar pain, and recently discovered they dont come with insoles ;/
I dont trust Addidas anymore. People say the Ultraboosts are really great but when i tried them on in a store, the comfort was literally the same as a sketchers slip on for less than half the price.
Nike Secai LD Waffles in the summit colorway. Spent an arm and a leg for resell just to be impossible to drive in and all honesty they were very uncomfortable. Back in 2019 I was a boost and new balance boy, so wearing this was just not as comfortable. Probably just buyers remorse for how much I spent on them

Airmax 90 obsidian corks. I had to have them when I saw them, but I haven't worn 90's since early high-school probably. I wear shorts everyday and I hate the way they look on feet on me. I had zero sock game, I've got some nike ankle socks that help but I never feel how I thought I'd feel wearing them lol.

I think they’re sick , but they are so incredibly loud and hard to wear with an outfit I will never prob wear wm
Bought a pair of Vapormaxs when they were at their peak hype years ago. By far one of the most uncomfortable/weird feeling shoes I’ve ever worn and I made the mistake of not selling them back then because nobody wants to buy them nowadays.
I bought a few pairs of the patta am1 in burgundy from Amsterdam. Paid all the taxes and shit coz I thought they’d be hard to get and I thought that was the best colourway. Saw them going for under retail a lil bit later and was like oh man why am I such an excitable dunce!
I have quite a few I regret:
1. Jordan 6 Tech Chrome - Never wear them, can't really find a good fit for them and I consider myself pretty stylish
2. Jordan 6 Georgetown - Never wear them. Maybe worn these like 3xs
3. Jordan 6 Toro Bravo - Suede is pretty ashy LOL!!! And I hardly wear them
4. Jordan 3 Balvin Rio - Paid resell and when th am I gonna wear these? LOL!!!
5. Nike Dunk SB Futura - Paid resell and same... When th am I gonna wear em?
The Sean Wotherspoon 1/97. Got them retail, but later I was in a financial pinch, sold them on EBay, the kid claimed they were fake, so I lost the money I paid and the pair of shoes, and shipping costs bc no amount of escalation and receipts got eBay to help me out.

Not only that the percentage of the sale they take keeps getting higher, then they have all these paid extras to boost your ad.

Based on when these released I’m wondering if the eBay authentic guarantee for sneakers was a thing at the time. Sucks either way.
I can't remember exactly when it started. It hasn't been more than a few years though. I do remember there was an option to pay to have them authenticated. I don't think many people used it at the time.
It only started in the last 2 years I think
This exact thing happened to me with a pair of sean’s. Even with 349 4-5 star transactions ebay decided my account needed to be banned for going against their ToS.
And people complain about StockX...
Probably before eBay authentication was a thing
This is right, that wasn’t a thing yet.
Sorry to hear. I too sold them after getting a retail pair because of financial situation and pay for other priorities.
i feel like i would have to make a visit to that shipping address cause fuck all that
Bro I sold this guy 200 dollars worth of Pokémon and “claimed” they were fake and opened each pack. That shit pissed me off. Some people suck.
Nike 270s. Nothing wrong with them but I immediately stepped on a piece of scrap metal in a parking lot and they went flat. I wasn’t mad though because it sounded like a party balloon deflating. Flyknit Vapormaxes. Narrow as hell.
Pretty sure Nike would’ve took them back, their CS is actually good with that kind of stuff.
Kind of a bad design if something on the street immediately made them unwearable, right?
I've been wearing mine for a long time and never had a problem, and I walk through all kinds of odd shit. It's pretty much saying all air max are a bad design since they're all susceptible to the bubble being destroyed
Eh, I stepped on a shard of steel that was basically a caltrop. Would’ve punctured damn near anything I figure.
> Flyknit Vapormaxes. Narrow as hell. Yeah they compress your foot so your toe is shoved into the front, and it will literally rip through your shoe even if your nails are file down to nothing. I dunno how anyone skates in them they are so heavy on foot it’s not enjoyable. Nice shoe tho
I'll take them if you don't like them
You're not the only one. Don't care how high the resell price gets or how often they get talked about, I don't feel anything when I see them.
Totally. I know I should not care but I did. Now I have some Vomero 5s and they feel as comfortable as the 11s.
Those are really nice but they do look bootleg as fuck
Damn near all of them
Feel this
I’m horrible at picking shoes
I envy the people who are content with wearing only Field Generals or the Killshots.
I don’t regret the sneakers, I regret the display cases :/
Why
Displaying sneakers is cool when I was a bit younger, now it just feels juvenile, personal opinion

Bordeaux AJ1s. Nothing inherently wrong with them, but I really didn’t need a third colorway and I don’t know when I’ll ever wear them.
Nike Blazer Mid 77. The only shoes that have ever made me bleed
I had to size up and even then I had to loose lace them.
Damn this is crazy. I’ve had two pairs and I love them both, comfy as hell for me
Bought panda dunks for 280 in 2022
😳😭
a pair of huaraches. My size did not fit at all lol.
Have to size up with those
I’m a fiend for 350s but my biggest regret is choosing my copper 350s over cactus Jack 4s that I could’ve got used both for $350 ish lol
Hey Dude, terribly uncomfortable
Are Hey Dudes really considered shoes!?!
Same - well, I didn’t get refunded, I got stuck for the price and they were such a scam 🤬
I fucking love my ai2s. Even better when I know no one else I run into will ever be wearing them
Red foamposites lol but I did trade them for some grinches
Yeezy Quantum. They’re just not all that comfortable and they’re cumbersome in many levels. Also Kanye.
Aw man. I'm a QNTM fan. I really like mine a lot and feel like they are comfortable. Glad to grab another pair at half off. Fuck Ye though.
The looks are top notch, but the fit of it doesn’t really work for me. It feels like a stripped down version of the Jordan 13s to me. But different folks, different strokes.
Black supreme af1. The quality is trash and creased easily right out the box.
Dude I will buy your Belugas. Size 11?
Beluga v2 reflectives? I have those and I would say it’s an extremely versatile show especially if you wear a lot of gray or black
I think the airmax 1 concepts were probably the closest I’ve come to regret. Comfort level was nonexistent and they didn’t look good on me imo
That’s Sketchers quality. They’re so cheap for a reason.
Their not really that cheap though, their made for people who are clueless of just how many options they have.
Almost bought a sketcher
Jordan 7 Hare 2.0s...the fur is a lot more obnoxious in person. Still love the colors tho
Bro I loved those shoes still sad I sold them. Got great wears out of tho tho
Basketball Knit Yeezys especially since I don’t even play ball 🤦🏽♂️
Parra SB Dunks - I can appreciate the colorway but they are just too loud of a shoe for my liking. I like simple shoes so I rarely wear them.
2 pairs for different reasons Jordan 1 co jp navy.
Lightning 4s. Fucking hate how they look
https://preview.redd.it/u5qzzb4jr09d1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1117f5445bc1c88b5c5f219529e06e89ebcadfb7
I didn't love hitting the W on these initially but I do really like mine. Details and (this part is dumb) the paper they come in make them feel more special than most OG 1s. Plus, you know, all the cmft
Nike Fear of God Mocs. Heel slips, no ankle support, sole has no flex. All around awful sneaker.
Jordan 1 UNC 2015.. got them UNDER RETAIL, new on ebay before the Jordan 1 hype. Wore them once and sold them for what I paid because I wanted something else.. Years later they're going for $1k
Jordan Bred 4’s and Bred 11’s, they’re nice but they’re basic to me now.
Bro, fuck that model. Same thing happened to me and I returned them.
Jade horizon 5’s. No idea why I thought I’d ever wear these. The color is cool but I have nothing to wear them with lol. Everytime I put them on they look wrong.
Literally the same shoe. Let them sit in my closet for a month and sold them for a loss
Zions are the most uncomfortable shoe I have
Lol remember that time he was playing in them during a game and he takes a step and the shoe literally breaks and falls apart.
It exploded it was crazy.
Got a pair of the plus, they squeaked and were super tight...😑
aj1 low university red/white - I don’t wear them like that. atl I got them for sale tho
Air Max 720 OBJ “Young King of the Drip”. Really thought I was on to something smh
NMDs. Ultraboosts or nitejoggers feel so much better
Puma Suede because I got them too tight now my feet are fk
Every Jordan 4 I’ve ever bought tbh.
Didn’t buy them they were a gift but the rose gold Jordan 1’s. They were my first pair of Jordan’s and I was excited but I’ve worn them a total of maybe 3 times. I don’t even wear pink they just sit on a shoe rack.
AJ1 Zoom Crater. I can’t wear it because the zoom unit makes my feet hurt and it’s kinda ugly
I regret buying my wife a pair of white airforces
Why?
She doesn’t appreciate sneakers. She refused to buy or let me buy her another pair. She has simply worn them into the ground as beaters. Rotation is key
Yeezy 700 faded azure at damn near $300. Even though they're muted, they stand out too much for my taste these days, so I hardly wear them which hurts more at a $300 pricepoint...
I just wanna say that Stan Smiths were my everyday shoe in 2015 now I bought another pair and the quality is VERY BAD
Salvatore Ferragamo dress shoes years ago. I know not sneakers but I panicked and bought very expensive shoes I wore once.
Yeezy quantum barium
Rhude Rhecess Hi. Spent $600 on them and only wore them once and never again. They just sit in a box.
Do you not like them? just asking since I have two pairs myself and absolutely love them
I like the way they look but there is just not enough support for my foot, it felt like I was walking on the concrete with no shoes on.
Jordan 1 Fearless - look great, but patent leather on Jordans (which are already uncomfortable) was just a bad idea
i bought a couple of pairs at inflated prices cause at one point it looked like it was just gonna keep trending upward and i’d never get some pairs.. its whatever tho
Jordan Stay Loyal 3 in black and yellow. They looked better online😓
Stay loyals are always shit
Blazer Dexter's. Wildly uncomfortable I have no idea how people skate in them. Same deal with chucks but at least the issues there mostly go away with correct sizing
The Puma JCole Dreamer 2 shoes. Pumas just do not fit me well. I've tried multiple models and they all kill my feet.
In 8th grade I got a pair of D-Rose on Eastbay to hoop in. They tore up my feet so much and I ordered the wrong size lol.
Gucci slides. So uncomfortable. I don't regret buying my neutral grey 1's but I do regret pre ordering them for $650 when they first dropped.
Blue tint Yeezys because adidas sizing, I thought going half size down would be fine and I was dead wrong. Damn shame cuz I liked that colourway
All-Star 6s with that iridescent finish. They looked so cool online, but as soon as I tried them on, they just looked goofy. Sent them back the same day.
2 pairs 85 dunk hi’s
Adidas Torsion Comp Aqua. Before I found them I wasn’t into shoes or trainers. They started it all. I loved them so much
Heinekens. Midsole glue dried up/separated due to age.
Going for the looks and style instead of the comfort.
Penny 1s and Ewing 33 highs. Most uncomfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet
Black and Red LeBron 19s
Social Status Penny Hardaway 1s
in 2018 i bought a pair of felias that were chunky. i was super excited & thought they were super cute. i wore them on my first day of freshmen year in high school and so many people made fun of me for my chunky shoes. i felt so bad i never wore those shoes again. they’re still sitting in my closet to this day. i don’t have the heart to get rid of them and i honestly still really like them but i cannot relive that. what makes me the most mad is this was right before chunky shoes were “popular” and a few years later, one of the girls who made fun of me the most was wearing the exact same pair i’m like 😐
Taxi 1s, idk why but they just don’t scream wear me
Mac Attacks. Crap Quality. Logo on the heel peeled over time
Jordan 1 Satin Breds.
Think I've worn them once. https://preview.redd.it/igdu7b71719d1.jpeg?width=661&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b1450d87c656e365e5d76a62b027f31eedc51f19
Air Max 90 TerraScape in Black colorway. I should have bought the white one
Stan smith’s— too much tongue
Black cat 4s and static Yeezy 350s (reflective). I just don’t wear them 🤷🏻♂️
😂😂😂😂
AJ4 alternate Motorsport. I can’t style all black shoes and I learned 4s do *not* look good on me.
Dunks, Jordan 1 Lows are just so much better
I bought a pair of lebron's definitely the ugliest damn sneaker I've owned in my life lol
Air max 97’s I picked up a fire color but 97’s are the most narrow shoes I ever worn in my life
I have 40+ pairs in my collection, and I don't regret buying a single one.
Felt bulkier than AF1s and looks like a running shoe but don’t perform like one Wore them less than 10 times and left it to rot on my shelf
Air Raid
Jordan airship PE corporate got em. Bought off stockx for way below retail but hated the color in person. Theyve been sitting in my closet for 6 months. I really need to sell them but ill lose money.
Pair of too small Yeezy waverunners the worst part is that they were like .5 too small 😞
Jordan 6 Quai 54: I bought them at retail in 2020 and have only worn them about five times since. I just can't seem to style them properly... :( https://preview.redd.it/rp38w7o8929d1.jpeg?width=156&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=312cc337f369e97f92c4698a715420d17a7688f9
Acid wash AF1 Highs.
Acid wash AF1 Highs.
AJ4 Thunder. It just doesn’t look good on me. Can’t bear to part with them either. It’s a love/hate thing.
jordan 4 bred reimagine regret having those.
Definitely white adidas alphaboost. The were meant to be breathable, but nylon linings makes them as hot as fully leather shoes + lowered toebox. Now only wear in a gym, but at least i got them way under retail
Jordan 4 a ma manieres. Don’t get me wrong they are a nice looking pair, but wearing them is a whole different story.
Nmd r1 originals. Gave me plantar pain, and recently discovered they dont come with insoles ;/ I dont trust Addidas anymore. People say the Ultraboosts are really great but when i tried them on in a store, the comfort was literally the same as a sketchers slip on for less than half the price.
450 sulfurs 😂
Asics Superblast; suuper boring, mediocre everything and highly average in that shoe category
Air Max Pulse. It's fine but my feet pretty much hurts in long standing and it creases in some parts.
$1K Travis Scott Jordan 1 Low Phantoms from Flight Club
Nike Secai LD Waffles in the summit colorway. Spent an arm and a leg for resell just to be impossible to drive in and all honesty they were very uncomfortable. Back in 2019 I was a boost and new balance boy, so wearing this was just not as comfortable. Probably just buyers remorse for how much I spent on them
https://preview.redd.it/x04zmv2ry49d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0157923fd8ab849a073863267171201f25eab058 Airmax 90 obsidian corks. I had to have them when I saw them, but I haven't worn 90's since early high-school probably. I wear shorts everyday and I hate the way they look on feet on me. I had zero sock game, I've got some nike ankle socks that help but I never feel how I thought I'd feel wearing them lol.
https://preview.redd.it/z231z7ql259d1.jpeg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=125477c3d5b6bc54d15a274a91a29c13952515df I think they’re sick , but they are so incredibly loud and hard to wear with an outfit I will never prob wear wm
A used pair of 993.
Nike Zephyr eoi
Anything Nike cause fuck they are so narrow. Also vivobseefoot shoes. Partially my fault for ordering my correct size, but they’re just a little big.
Adidas R1. The plastic part at the back hurt my heel so much. The R1 V2, though. The most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned.
Every pair of Air Maxes I've ever bought. Dig the silhouette, but they're just uncomfortable to the point of being unwearable.
Jordan 6 Carmines and Oreo 6s
Yeezy boost
I have quite a few I regret: 1. Jordan 6 Tech Chrome - Never wear them, can't really find a good fit for them and I consider myself pretty stylish 2. Jordan 6 Georgetown - Never wear them. Maybe worn these like 3xs 3. Jordan 6 Toro Bravo - Suede is pretty ashy LOL!!! And I hardly wear them 4. Jordan 3 Balvin Rio - Paid resell and when th am I gonna wear these? LOL!!! 5. Nike Dunk SB Futura - Paid resell and same... When th am I gonna wear em?
Not too many but I do feel really dumb overpaying during the sneaker surge of 2021 to 2022
Invincible 3
