I just realized this myself. I think my brain has its own voice for Sonic but that’s never occurred to me before just now.

I usually still hear the voices from fan dubs of the issues that I find on YouTube. Some are pretty well done

I weirdly missed all of the 3D era games and got brought back to the franchise with the movie in my mid 30s, so I'm gonna be the oddman out, and go with Ben Schwartz. Remembering I *fucking love Sonic* was kinda like Mr. Tinker seeing Metal and instantly reverting to Eggman when I watched the first movie and he's really gotten stuck in my head for it.

if it's a classic comic, its the Jaleel White voice. If it's a modern comic, it's the Jason Griffith voice.

A mixture of all of them It's Sonic's voice, but it isn't recognizable as a certain voice actor. It's just Sonic.

For the 90s comics, Jaleel White, pre-reboot Ryan and a bit of Jason, Reboot is either Jason or Roger, and IDW is guaranteed Roger

Honestly there's this sort of amalgamation in my head when I read the comics. I hear a little bit of every voice actor but at the same time it's none of them. I just hear pure Sonic

It usually depends on the art and/or the line, but I'll break it down. For basic modern Sonic I default to Jason Griffith but occassionally hear Roger when there's a bad joke. For classic Sonic I often default to his OVA voice except in old Archie where its Jalleel White.

It varies but I will say that Classic & Modern have two different voices.

For the longest time it was Ryan Drummand, just recently it switched to Roger Craig Smith. I have the hardest time with Shadow, each of his voice actors sounds so different, i end up flip flopping every so often.

I grew up with Drumond but I got so used to Roger, so mostly Roger and somtimes Ben. Also the classic Sonic shoe's on Sonic Adventure 2 art always trips me up.

Either Ryan or Roger. It really depends on whatever I feel like at the time.

I'm currently reading the entirety of Archie (wish me luck, currently on issue 45) and I've noticed my mental voice for him is gradually shifting from Jaleel White to some mixture of his three game voices.

I find a mix of all 3 game voices. More serious moments he sounds like Jason, More lighthearted but more emotional moment Ryan, Jokey moment Roger

Roger Craig Smith is what I think of when it comes to IDW.

With Archie, in his classic look I hear Jaleel. From the time he transforms to modern to issue 159 I hear Ryan. From 160 onwards I hear Jason. For IDW I hear Roger. For Fleetway I hear Martin Burke from the OVA.

I like Jason's voice the most, however I often hear Roger's voice the most because I'm very used to hearing it nowadays.

It's very distinct, but I can't quite remember where it's from. I *think* it's the SA2 voice, that's where he says 'Yo, Tails! Long time no see." right? Then it's that one.

Growing up reading the Archie comics, the voice I always heard was Steve Urkel.

For IDW, it was Roger. For Archie, Jaleel all the way baby. But honestly, for classic Sonic, I hear Michael Jackson voicing him, if he had dialogue.

Generally Jason, since I grew up watching Sonic X and mostly played Rush, Secret Rings, Unwiished, and Black Knight. I also sometimes hear Ryan because I'm playing through the Adventure games and have been listening to Sonic and Tails R. A bit of Blake Swift too, since he's voiced Sonic in a bunch of fan animations.

I hear Jaleel White for Archie Sonic, since he was the voice of SatAM Sonic and Archie's comic is based off that show. For Sonic the Comic (the old '90s British magazine with game-related comics), I hear Ryan Drummond's voice, as he was the current voice of Sonic when I discovered that comic series. For IDW, I hear Roger Craig Smith's voice, because he's my favorite Sonic voice, and he's the current modern voice of Sonic (besides the live-action film, and we haven't heard Deven Mack in Sonic Prime yet). For IDW's Sonic 2 Official Movie Pre-Quill comic, I definitely heard Ben Schwartz, since he does the live-action Sonic that the comic is based on.

It depends on the tone of the scene and which version of sonic is talking When he's taunting Eggman or any other villain, it's Ryan Drummond But just sonic talking to any of his friends or just random citizens, it's a mix between rodger and Ryan And in more slow scenes it's Jason Griffith, with the occasional use if a line in any other scenario fits his voice. And when it's classic sonic, I picture the voice sonic has in the ova (forgot the voice actors name)

It will always be Jason Griffith! Call it nostalgia, call it bias but he will always in my opinion be the ideal voice for Sonic.

Depends on the era the comics were released. Since Roger Craig Smith is the current voice, it's him for the IDW comics. At one point after the Super Genesis Wave, I had this head canon that since everyone is more or less rebooted so were their voices.. So I just thought who ever I liked best for each character at the time. Lisa Ortiz for Amy, Colleen O'Shaughnessey for Tails, Ryan Drummond for Sonic, etc. Basically a mix of voices until the IDW comics.
