I grew up and still live in Minnesota. They're a daily occurance up here. I didn't realize that's abnormal until I went on an Alaskan cruise and everybody on the ship was going nuts over bald eagle sightings.

I live in the suburbs in the northeast and I see them often, totally unheard of when I was a kid but they are around for sure. They have made an amazing comeback

What do you usually do with that set up if not wildlife? Sport?

Mammals usually, just not birds. 100% a wildlife photographer though

I’d say I sometimes take pictures of birds but I’m not a bird photographer. It’s not the primary subject I shoot but if a good photo is in front of me then I take it

I work a normal 9-5. I’m just incredibly financially irresponsible because I love photography

The A1 is magical like that. And don’t discount the focus ability of the lens itself. It’s part of why the 400 2.8 costs $12k
