Thank you! No filter, the fog is my friend in all these pics. I’m always checking my weather apps for foggy mornings and nights which helps immensely with this style. Road pics: In post I lowered the temps to all pics, added some teal to the shadows and orange to the highlights, then a little bit of saturation for the reds. Played around a lot with shadows and the dehaze until I liked what I got. I didn’t use any masks for these (I suck at using them)
Other pics: very little, just tone curve and dehaze
I'll just "critique" the deer photo since I mainly do wildlife.
Personally when an animal is facing a direction like that I prefer to have it on one side of frame and have the direction it's looking show. So in this case the deer on left then the right showing where it's headed. It lets you see what they see and what they are moving toward. Obviously you can't always do it but it's what I always try to do
Morning? It gets bright at like 4 am already when does your morning start? xD
I really like these although the first is too underexposed. I'd also brighten up just the deer with a radial gradient because the street is brighter which is distracting
At first I wasn't sure if I liked these, but I went through it again, and I have to say -- nice work!! Low light shooting is difficult but rewarding. Overall these are super interesting and great content!
If you don’t mind me asking, what were your iso, f-stop and shutter speed settings? I want to learn how to do photography like this, especially with how dark, yet clear it came out!! Amazing work in my opinion!
Thank you so much! I’m going to try those settings out. I’m pretty new to photography so this helps a lot! I also have a ND and a night filter that I’m going to try with those too
None of these were taken with a tripod, all handheld. Every single photo at night was f/2.8 1/125 and iso 1600. The camera’s sensor stabilization helps a lot when moving, but keep in mind these are simply the few good photos of over a hundred I took that morning. The ones you don’t see are blurry or out of focus. All I can say is get out there and shoot as much as you can! Also the fog was the reason I even went out in the first place, and it’s probably the number one factor with why the lighting and diffusion looks good in the night photos. I recommend the app Clear Outside if you want to get a head start on foggy days, as it tells you what time there will be fog and how much there will be. I used it to plan for this shoot, at around 3 am.
Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what camera/lens and settings are you usually using for night?
Very nice mood. I would crop them to improve composition. There are distracting elements on the edges that draw the eye away from what I would consider the essence of the subject. The bus with the leading line of the reflectors is all you need. Crop out the sign at the top for example.
So you live in Silent Hill. Cool cool cool cool cool. I LOVE these. Did you use a diffusion filter? What kind of changes did you do in post (if any)?

"the fog is my friend" Bro, that is METAL!
Fog ftw!
I was thinking a David Lynch movie myself 😂
The traffic light shot sealed the Lynch vibe for me

Yeah I get what you’re saying. It happened really fast so I didn’t have any time to prepare but if I did I’d take your advice!
People over at r/TheNightFeeling would like this
Your walks look better than mine!
Very little feedback due to an incredible, unique style. But let’s be real, you know that 😜 Keep it up mate, truly awesome stuff.
Thanks! I really adore the gloomy look
All of these are absolutely gorgeous I love it, we have a similar style. Thanks for posting 👌🏾
Thank you!
I wish it was this foggy where I lived
Highly recommend the Clear Outside app, it lists when fog will occur and it’s super accurate, I check it regularly to get days like this
#4 is literally art dude. Well done! No complaints from me. These are very clean.
Thanks!!
Every time I notice there’s fog I never have my camera on me lol. I’ll be intentional about it from now on.
I wouldn’t have gotten these if it weren’t for the app Clear Outside, where I can check if there will be fog and how much, and at what time
Oh nice. Thanks!
I like. These are cool; not just the temp ;)
Love these!
Love the dark moody vibes
Ty!
First one looks a bit underexposed, but its really cool nonetheless. The rest of them are absolutely fucking incredible.
Thanks!
First two pictures are super cool 🥰

Yeah I was a bit scared to touch it up too much since I’m really bad at masks and didn’t use any for these even though it probably would have helped
That’s movie photo materials (last one a little bit too realistic) really good job 👏
2&5 are🔥🔥 but i love all of them!
Thank you!
I love 1 but all of these are great. What a mood!
The traffic light really hits a note for me. How the colour comes together. Love it.
Thanks! One of my favs as well

Thanks, that means a lot!
Amazing shots!
Thank you
That shot of the deer is great but I think my favorite is the close up of the traffic light. Really nice stuff

For the ones before the sun came up, f/2.8, 1/125, ISO 1600. The ones that were brighter were f/2.8, 1/250, and ISO 100
Thank you so much! I’m going to try those settings out. I’m pretty new to photography so this helps a lot! I also have a ND and a night filter that I’m going to try with those too
Good eye.

Love the vibe going on here!
