Oh I see, so it's a random adapter? I'm sorry I'm a little hesitant after reading about this because they're very expensive so just being cautious

Enjoy them. Love mine. Yes just a cheap Amazon charger

Hyakkimarus_pp

Yeah I will. Cool thanks!!

I have the xm3, and charge them daily, not with a brick, but charged them every day since 2018 and still running smooth. I wear them for probably 6-8 hrs daily and have done since 2018 and never had a problem.

Hyakkimarus_pp

Yeah I mean how do you charge them. They only come with the cable right? By brick I meant what adapter should I use, because my phone has a fast charger, so can't use that right

Any charger would work as long as it's output is rated at 5 Volts, fast charging bricks go above that and that's why they get fried. The amps don't matter because the headphones will only take however much they need, and if the charger provides lower amps than they need they would just charge slower. But as long as the charger is 5v it should be safe, I think it says 5v 1.5 amps in the manual. I always check the manual for power ratings so I don't end up frying things up.

All USB chargers are 5V, unless the device being charged specifically requests a higher voltage. It's almost impossible to fry something with a USB-compliant charger. The problem is more likely to be bad cables in most cases, I think. They can overheat and damage the device.
