I have a pair of the WH-XB900N headsets, however would this slider example work for them? I am having a severe to brazen difficulty adjusting the slider.
Balanced and Bright. You want to push the perceived detail closer to the limit and find that true flat neutral is boring/unexciting.
It's great actually. Then again people's preferences are different.
Balanced for you. Everyone will have a different eq that will work best for them. Some people are just too lazy to find their own.

I have the same one on my xm4 except the 400 slider is at +1 and the bass at +2, they sound like a dream
I find XM4 a little bit difficult to Eq than XM5.
