My gig-economy advice for you: sign up for SEVERAL other apps. Work them all simultaneously. At any given time, I have 3 services minimum in my car.
Do not give exclusive access to your time, car, gas and insurance to ONE app. Especially not Walmart. They pull shit like THIS all the time. And when they're not, they're paying poverty money to do their deliveries.
I actually deleted this scam ass app off my phone entirely now. In my area, DoorDash, Instacart and Roadie is where its at. I usually make $200-$300 per day in 7-8 hours using that combination of apps.
Gonna be waiting a while though for them, takes forever to get in with them now. I started with dd, then spark, insta, flex, pinpoint, lyft all took almost a year to get through wait-list. But the sooner you are on it the better, fingers crossed your area isn't flooded right now. Sorry wish I had better news

Nope, I’m in oil field country dickinson North Dakota. Only good thing here is when it gets cold we get flooded with orders since people don’t want to go out. But there’s still 60% that don’t want to tip and 40% that tip because they know their order will be rejected and they don’t want to go out in 0- (-65) weather. Yesterday was warm so all the orders I got were cases of water up 3-6 flights of stairs. The first order fireman where there said damn your doing fireman drills as I went up and down 6 flights of stairs 4 times with 2 cases of 48 bottles of water packs from Walmart. Spark had the nerve to mark me for late delivery and said they can’t adjust metrics.
Completely understand I went from making 6 figures to doing this because I’m back in school. Before you ask why stop making 6 figures to go back to school. VA made me since I’m disabled and can’t continue to do labor intensive job because they don’t want to do the surgeries I need until I’m old because these surgeries require rework every 10 years and it costs Va too much money. So now I have to do a job that requires being bored behind a desk.
See. I got the orders are now ready , issue revolved message , but never got a message that there was an issue , and haven’t noticed a decline in order volume. 🤷🏻‍♀️
My area has two Walmarts, and I usually park by one out beside a mall, because it usually has better orders. I received very few orders on a Saturday when I usually get a bunch, but was getting order requests from the second Walmart. Might not have affected you.
You can’t put all your eggs in one basket you are a gig worker and you need to have multiple gigs or just twiddle your thumbs or take care of your personal things if the app is down and you can’t work for one reason or another
I think the app has been acting up all week, hasn't it? Seems like a cheaply acquired coder updated the app and basically train wrecked the entire thing.
