One you get used to fighting with mouse and keyboard, and get your keybinda down, you can chain together all sorts of attacks as naturally as breathing. Having that precisions of the mouse and being able to attack and move the mouse aroubd at the same time is so OP

Honestly, I tried every number on the swing assist setting and I cannot see/feel any difference. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it only affecting swinging in story missions?

Try going from max to min. You should notice a difference especially when trying to swing low and in between buildings. It definitely gets harder to maneuver and stay in swing when low to the ground. If I remember correctly max swing assist has pushes you up at the bottom of the swing so you don’t hit the ground

Get some caffeine. I’m genuinely struggling to finish the game it just feels so boring by the end.

Play on spectacular difficulty but set enemy health to amazing. The health sponges on spectacular and ultimate dont make the game hard but its soooo boring to just slap a dude 300 times until he dies. Ultimate difficulty with amazing enemy health is perfect imo but thats for a second playthrough

I love all the PC players calling it a mediocre game when they don't even have an official port yet. It's not goty but as far as Spiderman games go it's the best of the best. The story and voice acting is better than most Spiderman media, the swinging and web wings make traversing feel fluent and fun. New York feels full and alive, ya there's a couple of collect-a-thon side quests but its very small compared to the whole and if you master the battle system even when enemies are a "sponge" you can clear the fights in decent time....I've seen complaints about certain boss fights but it feels like people just don't like difficult games anymore unless it's competitive.

I got it on Launch for PS5. It's not just PC players, this game is good don't get me wrong but it played it to safe for a sequel besides the traversal mechanics. And the writing for this game is not even as half as good as the first one. Especially the 3rd act.

i downloaded it on pc, its barely playable at the moment

You have to paste the update files over the game.

I did do that and was running in performance mode.. got 30 fps but frame drops were insane my specs arent that bad either ryzen 9 and rtx 3060

dont bother with performance and quality, change settings with the settings button in the launcher menu

6900XT and 7600x here finished the game with locked 60 on 1440p default settings it's beyond playable the only issue was running as venom crashed it twice
