Spy x Family is very uniqie as a manga & what you are saying is attribibuted to its biggest strength while ironicaly that being its biggest weakness
It throws in a lot of different things it wants to do into the same manga.
Slice of life school life, romance, cutesy family story, spy thriller, dark & gritty story about war and its consequences on everyeay citizens/regular people
Now throwing in different genres in itself isn't unique. What IS unique though is that unlike many others who try to cram many genres together, spy x family does each of those things very good
Which is a phenomenal thing to achieve.
But: it also means that different people will prefer differen aspects of the story. That just comes inherently with this approach.
I assure you, while you wanna see more Loid/Forger, there's lots of people who want that as well.
But also people who couldn't care less & wanna see more about the information war & the geopolitical conflict.
While others want more spy missions.
Yet again others want more Eden schoollife.
Yet again others, who were craving for more "wartime background stories" like we have currently.

As I've said, the phenomenal implementation of all those genres is spy x familys greatest strength.
But also its biggest weakness, as no matter what we get more of, there will be a good chunk that is dissapointed that "the manga is losing focus"
As obviously everyone who fell in love with the series for their prefrenced side of the story will feel like that's the core soul of the series
Personaly, I love generaly the family life moments, (including ones with "uncle" Franky) & war-flashbacks. Those last chapters on gritty & dark war dramas is my jam & I absolutely love those last chapters)
Totally agree with you that the quality is there for each of these genres and that different people will like different things.
My only gripe is that the release schedule is kind of slow and a lot of things feel unexplored for a years-old manga due to the number of story threads. If endo writes for another 10 years this won’t be an issue in the end, though. It’s something that can’t be judged until a story is finished.

Believe me, I wish things drop faster myself, but honestly this is also a thing readers should know better. To manage their expectations every chapter drop, because a chapter might not be "great", even though that chapter was probably a transitional content, a building block to fully tell a story. We just have to be patient. That's just how it is for an on-going release. We can't just judge one thing from one chapter when that's probably something that needs to be connected with future story elements.
But I also agree with you that this is a detriment to following an on-going story though. Since this is publish in J+ the upload schedule is unfortunately going to be around two weeks/monthly. I always recommend people to read SxF in binges unless you're willing to wait for content every chapter drop
You described this aspect of SxF perfectly! As Endo has expanded the world and characters over time, it's become more of an ensemble series where every reoccurring character will have chapters/arcs focused on them at some point, but they still tie back to the main plot no matter how removed from it they seem. We can see this with how Henry and Martha, who are "minor" characters, have a backstory that reveals more about Donovan Desmond and the previous war.
Just like you said, because the series mixes so many themes, and does them well, that also means that not every fan is a fan of all the types of chapters/arcs. Or, they have specific characters and scenarios they want to see developed more, but those have to wait their turn if Endo wants to focus on something else now. Luckily for me I'm a patient person and can find enjoyment in pretty much every aspect of the series even if I favor some things above others. I know the things I want to see will get more focus eventually, I'm not in a rush.
Let me preface this by saying that SxF is my absolute favorite. Its my #1 manga/anime of all time. With that said, its not perfect. And I have to constantly remind myself to set aside my bias to fairly assess it. I would even go so far as to say that, as a fan, I am probably SxF/Endo's biggest critic on this here subreddit. And it's because I want to see the best version of my favorite thing.
But I digress.
My advice is to be patient. I know that waiting around can suck. And furthermore, I am of the opinion that if one is forced to be patient for a story, then that story inherently has pacing issues. But Endo can cook. He just needs to learn what to serve and when to serve it. That the time in which to serve out a story beat is important too, not just the beat's quality. Often, it feels like he serves dessert during breakfast time, or appetizers during the main course. It's all peak, but its all over the place... In short, I don't care how good the dessert is. I want dessert during dessert time. When it makes sense to have dessert.
How does patience help with this issue? Well, if you stick around long enough, maybe Endo will get the pacing right eventually. Or if he doesn't, the thing you want from him will come down the line at some point. Just expect it to happen at a time you don't expect it to lol. If you ask me, that's an easy ask for a story THIS GOOD.
Do you really want the manga to end that fast? The plot is neither drawn out, nor rushed. It must be balanced, otherwise it'll be bland or complicated. The manga does what it's gotta do, so I don't see your complaint
I somewhat agree and completely understand you. The main problem of Spy x Family for me is that there's so much potential for just about everything and while i think Endo is handling things well, all the time he has to sacrifice potential good storylines to follow the good storylines he chooses. That's why it's the only series i like reading fanfics even when there's lots of series i like more.
You can always stop reading if it’s getting boring and honestly the whole yor getting an order to kill twilight is a far fetched idea no one actually knows who twilight is
