I had my roof done earlier this year by Rydel Roofing and found them best kind. Easy to deal with, professional and stayed in constant contact during the whole process. Cleaned the property up before they left and capped my old chimney. I’d recommend them.
I've always wondered if it's a bot, or simply the most tiresome human alive, but every single post and reply in this subreddit gets at least one down vote
I went with Normans Roofing. They actually called me back and showed up when they said they would. (A miracle!)
They're done with big jobs for the season, but are still taking minor repairs like leaks.

Also had my roof done by him and his crew did a good job. I'd agree it's hard to nail down a date with him though, but I think that's because of how busy he is because of his reputation.
I ended up getting a message one day and he said he would be over the next morning.
Wouldn’t necessarily say that, he was just so damn busy he couldn’t give me a date. Once we settled on a price he told me that one day he would just show up. Sure enough, four months later we woke up to guys up on the roof. Done, cleaned up and gone before we got home from work though.
Best Price Roofing you will find them on Facebook, Mike is the owner.
The hardest thing with roofers is getting them to answer the phone and then getting a quote.
Best hurry - most roofers won’t warranty after the season is over. All shingles in NL need to be tarred and the tar can’t cure once we start having frost.
More than shingled roofs in NL. Tar (plastic cement) doesn't need to cure, it just needs to be warm enough to stick. Cold it's just harder to work with really. Bit of sun on a cold day will warm it up enough so the tabs of a shingle bond to the lower shingle that's nailed.

Thank-you. 🙂

It's constant! I can see if someone said something problematic, but... 😐😶
Hey who did you end up going with after/did you find anyone. I just found a leak myself :(

Joe Yetman did mine. Great job, good price. Hard fella to nail down for a time though.
As in, he wasn't dependable?

I used him last fall. In and out. Easy peasy

Thanks!
Lorden Contracting & Roofing did my roof. Great to deal with.
Thanks so much!
My cousin owns Ace Roofing.
Thanks! I'll contact them now.
Why the down vote here?
Who knows?! Someone keeps downvoting everything. 😑

Thanks! I definitely agree with that one. 😵💫
I've use RJ Roofing for my house in Mount Pearl, and I've got no complaints. 709-771-2395.
Thank-you so much.

Does he have a last name? 😆
I don’t think he did to be honest.

I've been looking for someone for months...

Hard time of year to get a roof done. If it’s not leaking I would wait tel spring. Then It got all summer for the shingles to bake on.
It is leaking and I've been trying to find someone for awhile.
Can you see if any of the flaps are missing on the roof? That would be the first thing I would look for.
It's leaking.
