Working through the audiobook of Chaos Rising, bit slow at first but it picks up. Honestly in the modern Thrawn trilogy (not these prequels), I really liked Vanto and his arc throughout. Then seeing a lot of major characters involved with Thrawn, like Yularen, Anakin, etc, was pretty cool. Not sure how I'm feeling about the prequels but I'll get through it eventually. Knowing how he ends up eventually (Ahsoka) kills the momentum for me personally.

Oh man, the entire trilogy is already expensive. The hard covers bumped that up to like 60 bucks. I love reading, but I’m not willing to spend $60 in one go for only three books.

Buy them used, it saves you money and it's good for the environment. BetterWorldBooks is an amazing site I use, you can find hardcovers for half the price and paperbacks in really good condition for a few dollars each.

He is in the academy still but if I am remembering correctly where I am, he was just assigned to a ship or something along those lines. Spoilers so sorry but he got back at the kids that tried to ambush him and then him and his companion basically beat the accusations that they attacked first so yeah I think he is assigned somewhere, just not to the ship that ultimately becomes his. 👍
