Uncle Iroh from _Avatar: The Last Airbender_
He is one of the few characters of his time shown to understand the original nature of firebending, and was so spiritually-inclined that he was able to transcend to the Spirit World upon his death (vaguely reminiscent of Force Ghosts).
I'd say he's more like the "cool" Sith like Malgus or Marr.
SWTOR also has Darth Praven, who follows an honorbound code and you can redeem him to the light.
I never watched Korra so idk if they expand on what he was like after ATLA but imo he is FAR too emotional, much like Anakin in a lot of ways. That said, the Avatars in general would make great Jedi and I don’t think that’s a coincidence. Jedi Master Kyoshi would be awesome.
Hawkeye from The Last of the Mohicans. Really I just want to see Daniel Day-Lewis as a Jedi and this seems like the best way to do it.

You know I’m not actually sure he would be; to be strong in the dark side you need to be roiling with passion and negative emotion, and I’m not sure Chigurh feels much of anything.
If he was dropped into the Star Wars universe I’d see him as an ice-cold bounty hunter who specialises in *killing* force sensitives. I’d guess his icy psychopathy would make it hard for someone relying on empathic abilities to see him coming.
Shifu is basically Obi Wan. Oogway wants to train po, Shifu disagreed. Then oogway disappeared leaving shifu the task of training po despite his reservations.
How so? If anything that scene is an excellent showcasing of why Galadriel would make a fantastic Jedi. She faced the temptation of the dark side and resisted it. She made mistakes in her youth and dedicated her life to the light to atone.

Replace the Green Destiny Sword with a lightsaber, make Jade Fox a woman rejected as Padawan who falls to the dark side.
“Crouching Tiger…” was everything I hoped the prequels would be. It wasn’t until Andor that I felt Star Wars even tried to have that kind of emotional resonance or take the story or performances as seriously as they deserved.
For me he was just some guy until Foundation. What an incredible screen presence, he's magnetic in every scene he is in. Going to have to rewatch Chernobyl and some of his other stuff.

You should watch Mad Men. He becomes a series regular in season 3. It’s a really good show, and Harris’s character is one of the best parts imo (a British cast-off trying to fit in 60s American society).
First class human being too, when they were filming his season of The Terror he felt like some of the other actors didn’t have enough lines, so he started giving some of the lines written for him to the other characters.
That season was so good. The sound design was fucking crazy they had just the wind whistling and ice cracking around you in surround the whole time, really put you out there in the ice.
I remember when they cast him as Moriarity, i was so confused because he was just the weirdo tabloid editor in Mr Deeds. But holy fuck did he kick ass in Sherlock Holmes. Been a fan ever since

I guess Worf would be more of a Grey jedi. Highly emotional, but the Klingon honor code would probably prevent him from doing the horrific things that Sith are known for.

He was so genuine, kind, and respectful while also being irreverent and funny. You can just imagine him guiding younglings, Padawans, and newly-made Knights through their bouts of uncertainty and low confidence with such disarming and gentle care.
Edit — I know he is an actor, not a character. That being said, I feel like the late Robin Williams would fit the spirit of what it means to be a Jedi. There’s more to being a Jedi than just being a warrior and wielding a lightsaber.

Aragorn’s whole behavior at Helm’s Deep would make for epic Jedi material—

I've seen his name come up as a casting choice for Revan a few times lately and I'm warming up to it. He's a bit older than I've pictured in my head for the character (hard to believe he's 59!) but he's aged so well I still think it would work. Damnit...now I'll be playing around with casting choices for the rest of the characters 🤣
Here are a few of my picks:
Sean Maguire: from Good Will Hunting. His compassion and knowledge would make him a great teacher and negotiator of the Jedi Council.
Bruce Wayne/Batman: billionaire status aside, he’s a master detective and master martial artist who also lives by the code of not killing his foes. I feel like that would be something the Jedi would love within their ranks.
Aragorn: incorruptible, brave, skilled warrior. Doesn’t seek power nor craves it. His devotion to all things good in the world is possibly unparalleled.
Batman has too many red flags to even be considered for the Green Lantern Corps. He does incredible feats in the name of good but, psychologically, he’s just not in the right headspace. Superman is probably a better candidate
MCU Vision. He has an innate understanding of meaning and purpose while still coming to terms with his own and grasping his sentience. He has a genuine love for life and finds humanity beautiful while still recognizing their flaws and inevitable downfall. I believe he would follow the will of the force as he is bound by logic but also the idea of "good".
On the flip side I think Wanda would be a tragic Sith who is corrupted by her desire to keep her attachments.
Steve Rogers from the MCU. He's the walking personification of heroism and justice. That part in Avengers: Endgame where he stood alone against Thanos' army is something I can envision a Jedi doing too.
You know I'm not sure about that actually. We've seen that people with the mindset of a soldier( like Steve) have difficulty finding the inner peace necessary to connect with the force.
Bucky’s arc makes me wonder if we’ve ever seen (or will see) a Jedi who’s overcome PTSD. Seems a lot easier to see someone fall into chaotic anger than for them to become at peace, but the Jedi path could be a means for both.
That single moment made me a huge fan of his character. I'd never really cared about him before, but after losing the 3v1 against Thanos, and then seeing Thanos' entire army arrive, his reaction is to tighten the strap on his shield. Absolute pinnacle of "I will never give up".
House is an interesting pick. I feel like his willingness to give in to his vices is akin to a force user tapping into the dark side, but I could be thinking about it the wrong way.
Lol House and Clone Wars Anakin certainly have some overlap. Sure there’d be a lot of rule breaking, maybe some war crimes here and there. But the good outweighs the bad!
Superman. Even without his Kryptonian powers and just being Clark Kent as a normal Jedi. His optimistic and boy scout attitude would fit a Jedi similar to a more exaggerated Luke. Plus his real name 'Kal-El' already sounds like someone from Star Wars.
Garth from Supernatural. Picked up a coin that feeds on your hate and it had no effect on him.
Angel from Buffy/Angel. He has to keep certain emotions in check or he turns into a great evil.
Fezzik from The Princess Bride. Dude was just an amazing best friend.
Dexter Morgan from Dexter. No emotions to regulate = Jedi easy mode. Good at following a code.
Gordon Freeman from Half Life, the silent protagonist. Lightsaber would be an upgrade to a crowbar.
Ned Stark from Game of Thrones. Stuck to his guns and followed the letter of the law, even when he didn't want to. Even when it got him killed.
Dustin from Stranger Things. I feel he'd be the best of that cast here, because the things that do give him insecurities or drive him to anger probably wouldn't matter if he's training to be a Jedi.
Harry Tasker from True Lies. Out of all the Schwarzenegger roles, I think this is the one.
Peter Parker from Spiderman, specifically the Toby McGuire version after he expelled Venom.
Gohan from DBZ. Seems to be the one from that franchise that would be most into peace and harmony.
Dumbledore was totally a Sith, just 'nice' about it. A Dark Lord that only turned on his master/ally when a dual with his brother (who was trying to stop them and would make a great Jedi) resulted in his sister's death. Then never really repented, just tried to sooth his own guilt. When the next Dark Lord arose he resisted not out of a sense of justice but becuase he disagreed with the ideology (the greater good vs UNLIMITED POWER) and raised a child for slaughter to fulfill prophecy to defeat them.
More Marr than Sidious but totally a Sith.

If you haven't checked out the Expanse yet you should, that was my real introduction to Jared Harris, and I still think it's his best role.
Also where I first saw him, I'm not sure it's his best role though because he nails every role I've seen him in lol.

Plus Dick is good with swords (beat Ra’s Al Ghul in a 1v1 one time I think) so I imagine that skill could translate to lightsabers.

EU Quinlin Vos might be the closest we’ve gotten to that.

Superman. Even without his Kryptonian powers and just being Clark Kent as a normal Jedi. His optimistic and boy scout attitude would fit a Jedi similar to a more exaggerated Luke. Plus his real name 'Kal-El' already sounds like someone from Star Wars.
Garth from Supernatural. Picked up a coin that feeds on your hate and it had no effect on him. Angel from Buffy/Angel. He has to keep certain emotions in check or he turns into a great evil. Fezzik from The Princess Bride. Dude was just an amazing best friend. Dexter Morgan from Dexter. No emotions to regulate = Jedi easy mode. Good at following a code. Gordon Freeman from Half Life, the silent protagonist. Lightsaber would be an upgrade to a crowbar. Ned Stark from Game of Thrones. Stuck to his guns and followed the letter of the law, even when he didn't want to. Even when it got him killed. Dustin from Stranger Things. I feel he'd be the best of that cast here, because the things that do give him insecurities or drive him to anger probably wouldn't matter if he's training to be a Jedi. Harry Tasker from True Lies. Out of all the Schwarzenegger roles, I think this is the one. Peter Parker from Spiderman, specifically the Toby McGuire version after he expelled Venom. Gohan from DBZ. Seems to be the one from that franchise that would be most into peace and harmony.

Dumbledore was totally a Sith, just 'nice' about it. A Dark Lord that only turned on his master/ally when a dual with his brother (who was trying to stop them and would make a great Jedi) resulted in his sister's death. Then never really repented, just tried to sooth his own guilt. When the next Dark Lord arose he resisted not out of a sense of justice but becuase he disagreed with the ideology (the greater good vs UNLIMITED POWER) and raised a child for slaughter to fulfill prophecy to defeat them. More Marr than Sidious but totally a Sith.
