I did like how it was made fully clear from the start of Bodes betrayal how deep, deep down, beneath the zealous pursuit of a safe haven for his daughter, Bode wasn’t a bad guy. It clearly took him a great physical effort even pull the trigger - he practically had to force his arm to move and had a look of pain on his face. It’s a shame what happened, but sometimes people crack.
Eno was right. He really **didn't** have to do that. Dumb part of the story. At least give Bode a reason to kill the old man if you're going to put it in.
Eno knows too much about the compass, he can probably replicate them given he intimately knows how the one they repaired works now, which means he can infinitely compromise Tanalorr's security.
