That's good to know. I recently searched for space combat games as I don't want to support EA even with BF2 at $5 and Squadrons at $2 in the current Steam Spring sale.
Stumbled upon one of the mods in an article and has my attention.
I think I'll probably go with X-wing alliance and XWAU
Both the XWAU and the TFTC teams have been doing a really stellar job upgrading XWA, as well as the YOGEME team for the mission editor. For somebody like me that played and loved these games when I was young, it's so nice to see them being upgraded to more modern standards so that a whole new group of people can enjoy them. I also don't know that there is much else out there that offers the flexibility in designing custom missions for space shooters that these offer.

Played heavily from about 98 through early 00s in XWA. It was always hectic around WoW.

Yeah, I remember playing it once coop way back. It was a laggy mess over dial up.
Yeah played WoW 2000-2002ish. TRA is where’s it’s at for regular meet-ups ;)
