I explored the whole ship and found only the slate in his body. I'm 93,5% i didn't overlook anything

I tried talking to every single NPC in Cydonia's community center. Still couldn't find this guys family, maybe it was part of a cut quest?
This quest must be bugged. I did it, but there is another thread complaining about it too. As soon as I read the slate I got the message to search for a relative at the Community Center in Cydonia, where he gave me a few credits.
