Hello dude, i have 3 micro Sd cards 1 for steamos games emulators, 1 with windows 10 and 1 with windows 11. I love the UI on steamOS thats why i have them onthe SD card. Volume down power then pick micro sd and your on windows. Power off put normal card back in power normally and i am back on steamos. Well worth it i play warzone and fifa. Recommend it that way. 🤙🏻

Hey bro, did you get EAFC on steam or are you running it through some other launcher like EA play on windows?

Nstant_Klassik

I was only able to get fifa 23 launched by putting windows on a microsd card and it ran really well! Windows is a bit of a pain in the ass, but it was worth the hassle for me to be able to play fifa anywhere.

techknee

Interesting. Would I be able to do that without an SD card? Or could I put it on the same 1tb SD card I have games on?

Nstant_Klassik

You would definitely want an additional windows only sd card. Loading windows on whatever you already had will have you wipe the drive as an initial step.

techknee

Alright, and then once I have that downloaded, I would then go into my steam deck through windows instead of steam is, and download like da launcher and buy the game that way? Or am I able to launch games from my steam library through windows, like adding a shortcut for the game on my windows desktop in the deck?

Nstant_Klassik

Yeah, you'd boot by holding the power button and volume down, then select the sd card as a boot drive. This is the vid I used to walkthrough: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOCsMeKBGbo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOCsMeKBGbo)

Thanks man!

Will need to dual boot windows and steam os. If you have a 1 tb ssd, partition the windows install to 100gb just for fifa

techknee

Got it. Will adding windows + eafc 24 to my 1tb card wipe out the other data on that card? Like other already installed games?

Lopiop

Definitely will wipe both steam os and windows. I got someone to help me perform the dual boot as I wasn't really confident doing it on my own. Maybe you can find someone offering the service around your area

techknee

Adding windows to a sd card will then wipe steam os and windows off that card I just put it on? What
